Publisher's summary

Zoo vet Blane Winters' grumpy attitude and muscles hide a romantic heart. He only relaxes when he's around animals, since he likes them more than people. He has some friends, a good job, and a place of his own, and he's sure that's all he needs. Until he meets a certain incessantly cheerful artist.

Studying meerkats as he paints a wedding present for his sister gives Falcon Harper the perfect excuse to creep on the hot vet. It takes his mind off the dreaded event. He’s happy for his sister, but his secret ex will be at the wedding...Spencer, who broke his heart years ago.

The solution is obvious: Blane can be Falcon's plus-one and show Spencer that Falcon’s moved on to bigger, better things all these years later. But feelings grow as Falcon coaxes Blane out of his shell. Just as happiness seems within their grasp, jealousy threatens to tear it away for good.

Grasp is a stand-alone gay romance novel with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger.

I miss the Significant Brothers

How can you not love a book that starts out with a scene that includes a baby sloth??? Falcon and Blaine have a chance encounter at the zoo where Blaine is a vet and Falcon decides to paint the meerkats for his sister's wedding. I really enjoyed listening to these two become friends and then fall for each other. It was so much fun to revisit the Significant Brothers and I can not wait for the others to be released on Audio.

Love It!

Love this story and all of its characters. Blane and Falcon are just perfect together and totally belong together. I really love that its a low angst story and that just as Blane and Falcon are growing closer and trouble starts from someone's jealousy trying to tear them apart, they actually communicate with one another and band together. It's a refreshing and super sexy story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The narrator did a great job with both the story and all of the characters. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Another Winner

Blain, a Vet at the local zoo, is tired of hooking up and is looking for romance, but likes animals much more than humans. Falcon, an artist, meets Blain at the zoo where Falcon is painting some meerkats for his sisters wedding. Falcon is anxious about the wedding as his secret ex will be there, and ends up asking Blain to come with him.

This is another book that I’ve come to expect with E. Davies. The book is engaging, writing is clear and consice; this book has humor, heat and love and is a great read overall! I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out in audiobook! Great read!!

Love Blane!

E. Davies does it again with another wonderful Significant brother. I think Blane may be my favorite, at least so far. I really liked that he was a Zoo Vet because that isn't a career you see very often in books so it's not overdone. Blane and Falcon finding each other was definitely a work of fate but they fact that they stayed together despite everything, that's just love. There isn't alot of angst in this book, which I like. The characters communicate and discuss any issues that come up, even the one really big issue that in another relationship could have caused a lot of problems and possible even ended them, but not these two. I really enjoyed getting to touch base with the other Significant brothers and I am definitely looking forward to hearing their stories and watching them fall in love! Greg Boudreaux does an excellent job with the narration, but that didn't surprise me in the least!

Such Sweetness

I loved Falcon and Blane. They are so perfect and adorable together. Although they have issues with the talking part about f relationships they seem to have a lot of fun (and pizza). I like how they meet and think that the connection is amazing. And omg I love their friends and family. They are all so much fun and keep these two on their toes. With a few hurdles and the decision of whether to make it real or not they have their work cut out for them. I thought that the narrator did an amazing job with this story and the characters in it.

Grumpy veterinarian and sunny artist

In Grasp, Blane is a grumpy veterinarian and Falcon is a sunny artist. I loved this character combo! They meet at the zoo where Blane works and the flirting begins. One of the aspects that I enjoyed in the book was that they are both very much wanting a real relationship with someone, not just physical hook-ups. There is a little baggage that needs to be worked through, but there is very low angst. And if you like the fake boyfriend trope, there is some of that mixed in as well.

The narration is by a single person covering dual POV, which can be a challenge and was a little confusing at times. However, I liked the narrator's voice work for the characters and found listening to the book enjoyable. I think this can easily be listened to as a stand-alone.

I would definitely recommend listening to Grasp (I am loving finding out when the book title plays into the story in this series) as a sweet story with very little angst, but a lot of heat

Blane is a vet and a romantic at heart, Falcon's an artist who is sassy and blunt, Falcon is broken he is waiting for someone to come along to help him to love him to help heal him. I absolutely love this series. It is so wonderful and refreshing. The narrator Greg does an amazing job with the voices in this one.
