Publisher's summary

A supernatural mystery with humor and romantic spice. If you're looking for a paranormal twist that will have you laughing out loud, then prepare yourself for Werewolves, Vampires and Demons, Oh My. This collection includes all three books in the series:

  • Indecent Werewolf Exposure: It all started with a werewolf peeing in her bushes. Then a demon tried to kill her, but the final straw? Having to decide between two men. Or not . . . She might just keep them both.
  • Mr. Peabody's House: A haunted house becomes the focus of a demonic investigation so Brenda teams up with a trio of werewolves to solve the mystery. But when the house eats her, can she be saved?
  • A Demon Stole My Kitty: Witches are being murdered, demons are misbehaving, and her cat has gone missing. What's a witch to do? Save the world, of course, once a hot wizard gets out of her way.

Contains mature themes.

Must be love

The narrator helped me understand the emotions behind the words. It was like the words came to life with Chandra Skyye's interpretations. I really liked the first and third books, but the woman in the second book was just too much for me, luckily she had three werewolves to handle her. Alistair, in the third book, was my favorite, and the tiny kitten was adorable.

These are good listens.

The first two were ok, the third was, I thought the best of the three. The narration was good. Lots of steam, and I am not much into the harem theme. A small amount of humor and story amongst the steam.

T's should be pronaounced

I love Eve Langlais's books. They are fun, sexy, and entertaining.
Unfortunately, she loves using Chandra Skyye to narrate. If you are only listening to one story every few months, she's not bad, but in a bundle, her inability to pronounce t's becomes distracting and eventually irritating. After six times per chapter, I started anticipating the speech impediment, which took me out of the story. Made me wonder how Ms. Skyye got a narration gig in the first place. I know that I am probably in the minority of people whom this is a problem for, but I will be paying attention in the future, and passing on anything narrated by Chandra Skyye. Sorry hon, nothing against you personally.

Enjoyed the romp!

I giggled, chuckled and guffawed through the whole series. It was truly hilarious! Warning - only listen if you don't mind steamy and graphic scenes though.

Light, raunchy, and hilarious!

Cute story and hilarity ensued! Definitely worth the credit as a 3 for 1. Looking forward to the author's other works.

Hours of enjoyment

Great stories for those whom enjoy this genre! The Narrator did a lovely job on all three stories. Eve as usual created exciting stories to enjoy over and over again.

Sex and mystery are inversely related

Interestingly, across the series the sex and mystery were inversely related, meaning that the time devoted to the demon mystery increased with each book, whereas the time devoted to sex decreased. For me, this meant book 3 was my favorite.

Another oddity was that, while the demon mystery spans the series, the MCs of each book didn’t really factor into the other books. If more effort had been made to bring all the characters together to address the mystery, this could have been quite the series. Instead, it’s just a trio of marshmallow fluff paranormal romances.

Random details that may signal this series is not for you:
⛔️ There’s F bombs, sex jokes, and detailed sex scenes (cartoony, but still detailed)
⛔️ The term “va-jay-jay” is used a lot, especially in book 2
⛔️ Despite the creature diversity, all nine MCs are white
⛔️ The narrator cannot pronounce inside “T’s” and “impor_ant” words may form a “pa __ ern” of aggravation, especially for the pet name of “ki __ en” which is used a lot.
⛔️ There no Table of Contents

🐺Ch1 Indecent Werewolf Exposure
“Normalcy is overrated”
In a kinder, smexier Handmaids Tale, the world is suffering a shortage of women. Reverse harem relationships are incentivized, even with tax benefits. Chloe, however, isn’t looking to settle down, much less settle down with multiple partners. Leave it to two sexy beasts to change her mind. There’s sex, sex, and, yup, lotsa sex. Oh, and a demon incident.

🧛‍♂️ Ch21 Mr. Peabody’s House
“Didn’t you hear what Peabody said happened to the priest? The house ate him!”
Brenda: “The real question is: Did the priest enjoy it?”
“You are one sick puppy, Brenda.”
This is for folks who like obnoxious, Anna Kendrick-style comedy. Brenda was a huge brat.

Sebastian: “Don’t you have any boundaries?”
No. No she doesn’t. Brenda had no boundaries.

Brenda: “So when does the debauching happen?”
Mike: “There will be no debauching”
Brenda came on like a woman in heat, ironic considering she’s the human in this MMMF romance,
or rather WWWH romance, with werewolves Nick, Dale, and Sebastian.
Despite Brenda’s best efforts, there’s less sex and more demon mystery.

👿 Ch53 A Demon Stole My Kitty
Willow: “What do you want?”
Alastair: “To offer an apology.”
Willow: “Does it include copious amounts of chocolate?”
Alastair: “um, no”
Willow: “Then it’s just words.”
Now there’s world building? And relationship building? Had to take a moment and confirm this was the same series. I was happy the mystery took center stage and fine with the slow burn and decreased sex, but I could have used a bit more humor. Still, all three books taken together were decently entertaining.

Annoying there is a such thing as to much if a good thing. When a author uses sexy scenes instead of a good plot

To much sex instead of a great story line. I'm a beta reader.I love romantic/paranormal books.I enjoy occasional sex scenes when the time is right. But when you get chapter after chapter of the same thing (sex) It becomes annoying. it feels like this is all the author knows how to write..I know I'm probably going to get hate for this. but look at it this way..I love cheeseburgers but if I ate 10 cheeseburgers I'd be sick. 😂 My point is I love a good balance of both
