About this listen

Nathan Byrn is running again. The Alliance of Free Witches has been all but destroyed. Scattered and demoralised, constantly pursued by the Council's Hunters, only a bold new strategy can save the rebels from total defeat. They need the missing half of Gabriel's amulet - an ancient artifact with the power to render its bearer invincible in battle.

But the amulet's guardian - the reclusive and awesomely powerful witch Ledger - has her own agenda. To win her trust, Nathan must travel to America and persuade her to give him the amulet. Combined with his own Gifts, the amulet might just be enough to turn the tide for the Alliance and end the bloody civil war between Black and White witches once and for all....

OMG, the end to a really great series - I just loved Carl Prekopp's narration of Nathan as he tries to become the with Gabriel loves. Now that he has his gifts, Nathan works to perfect them, hunts Annaliese and helps the Alliance of Witches against the hunters. I wish I could say I loved the ending...I enjoyed all of Prekopp's characters in his narration, author Green's worlds were wild, heart stopping, and powerful. I have to thank The 2015 Hub Challenge for giving me the impetus to listen to this series, it was awesome

I was curious of the books after the Netflix series. I’m so grateful for the introduction. The books are definitely better, in my opinion. Interesting characters and over development.

Impressed

To sum this book you'll be chocked but in a good way I guess. You'll also be sad that the series came to an end.

Wow

Not the ending I was expecting, but I can live with it. It will make me think a bit, it will set this series apart from the others. I will be thinking about this one for a while. If a book/series can make me do that and not get lost in the abyss of same-same, then I am all for giving it more than 3 stars. I won't say this series is the best out there, but I did enjoy the story. It kept me intrigued, it was written well, the characters were engaging, and the story moved most of the time. I just loved Nathan and his angst, and I adored Gabriel and the relationship these two had with each other. And Carl Prekopp? Adored his narration. It was his voice that convinced me to purchase the first book. Look forward to more narration from Carl.

Fitting End.
