Story
When a spaceship landed in an open field in the quiet mill town of Sorrow Falls, Massachusetts, everyone realized humankind was not alone in the universe. With that realization everyone freaked out for a little while. Or almost everyone. The residents of Sorrow Falls took the news pretty well. This could have been due to a certain local quality of unflappability, or it could have been that in three years the ship did exactly nothing other than sit quietly in that field, and nobody understood the full extent of this nothing the ship was doing better than the people who lived right next door.

I really enjoyed this. Frankenstein IT support was my favorite. These are fun and not really scary stories about monsters and how they live their lives. The narration was great. I definitely recommend these short stories.

Okay stories. Not really Holloween to me.
This was more for children than adults. I think kids would get a kick out of this. Even though this was not my kind of book it was well narrated and well written. Frankenstein was my favorite.
I recieved this book for free in Hope's that I would leave a voluntarily review.

Even monsters have bad days
This was a fun bundle of books to listen to while working around the house. I could definitely relate to Frankenstein's job and the people he had to deal with. Not as versed with magic but I can relate to people being people. The last story was of a more serious bent but we all want to know whynwe are here and how we got here.
I would definitely recommend them if you need a laugh or just a short amount of time to devote to a story.

Great Halloween Fun
I played Halloween Party for my nephews, to get them in the halloween spirit. They got really enthralled in the stories, and started play acting them. Its a good length for younger people’s attention spans, and very whimsical. I think it would be great to play as a back drop to a halloween party!

Great Sampling of Mr. Livingood’s Work
Mr. Livingood is a new author for me and as a collection I was truly anticipating the stories would be of a similar type. However, each of the stories included in this collection is very unique in genera and storytelling, though each provides another side of a more traditional Halloween character.
The first was likely my favorite, because it is humorous and easy to relate to. It takes a fictional character and puts him into a not so fictional setting – hilarity ensues. It read like a quick, funny short story and provided the humanity of Frankenstein. Mr. Gilboe did a great job with the voices, cadence and added sound effects.
The second story was also funny and in the same line as the first, provided a day job for a swamp monster. Mr. Bennett did an amazing job with the voice to make you feel like you were in a southern swamp.
The third story was quite a bit different to me. It read more as a novella with more character development, backstory and not as much humor.
In all it is a great collection and showcases Mr. Livingood’s diverse writing style, while keeping in the spirit of Halloween.
I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

Halloween Party Book Set
This is a fun set of Halloween stories. Even though they are advertised for teens or tweens, any age can listen and enjoy. There’s Frankenstein’s monster, swamp monsters, and vampires. My favorite of the stories is Frankenstein: IT Support.
James Livingood kept each story short and self contained. A great quick listen.
Each story has a different narrator and they all did a great job.
