Publisher's summary

"Like it or not, Brian, the moment you gave that Cinderella interview on The Kenneth Long Show, you changed her life. There's no going back for her, so help her move forward. Help her make the best of a hard situation."

The end of one story is often the beginning of another. Hollywood heartthrob Brian Oliver and his Cinderella princess Ellamara Rodriguez have finally found love outside the digital world. But leaving their anonymity behind creates a whole new set of obstacles for the nation's new favorite sweethearts. With the stress of Brian's fame, Ella's disapproving family, and the pressures of a new relationship weighing down on them, the It Couple quickly begins to wonder if they can hold on to their newfound joy, or if maybe happily ever after is only a fairy tale.

Perfect Imperfections

I was so happy to continue knowing about Cinder and Ella's story. Brian was so sappy and cheesy as Ella says but it was so endearing. And I loved when he stood up for her with her dad.He was so patient with her. And it was so nice to hear their story of love and acceptance.

Worth the wait

I heard this was coming out in Audible and was thrilled. It was well worth the wait. I'm hoping Kelly will have a third book that covers the wedding and honeymoon.

Heartwarming, heartbreaking, fun and romantic

I enjoyed this continuation of Brian and Ella’s story.
It had the same heartwarming, heartbreaking, fun and romantic feel as book 1.
Book 1 was a bit more focused. There was an unmistakable ending it was working towards.
Now both of our main characters have to work for their Happily Ever After, and how they are gonna accomplish that is less apparent. (which is not a bad thing)

Spoiler alert (though I kept my complaint as vague as possible)
I was bothered by 1 thing.
At a certain time in the story, Ella is worried about something and Brian could have eased her insecurities and worry right then and there.
He doesn’t, and to me this came across as a thing Brian would NEVER do.
He doesn’t help/ comfort/ enlighten Ella only because it suited the author/story/ plot.
I didn’t like this inconsistency, it took me out of the story.

Even though book 1 and book 2 in this series both have a completed story, I would recommend you listen to them in order.
Like book 1, I think this story is suited to adults and young adults alike. It doesn’t have any of the things that usually annoy me in books in the young adult genre.

Narration is great again, though I did notice more of an accent in Ella’s character voice as opposed to book 1. Not sure if it’s me or if the accent was indeed stronger here.
Either way, I enjoyed the performance very much.

This series is one I would Happily re-listen in the future.

Better than the first.

Kirsten Leigh is masterful in her performance of this wonderful book. She portrays each character with such specificity that it’s hard to believe it’s one person.

Cinder + Ella

This is the conclusion to book one. I loved reading this book and when my husband and I took a road trip across the states, I downloaded this series and my husband loved it as well. This a sweet high school YA romance that involves Movie stars and love in the most unlikely place.
