Publisher's summary

London trial lawyer Gen has managed to corral that randy colt his lordship Arthur Finch-Hatten, the Earl of Severn, at least as far as anyone knows. In public, he seems to be behaving himself, but she’s kind of gotten involved with her client in a way that the Bar’s ethics committee would totally not approve of.

With Arthur’s impending trial in the House of Lords and the constant backstabbing in her law office, the last thing Gen needs is for Arthur to whisk her off to Paris for the social wedding of the century to schmooze the people who will decide his fate.

Gen has broken all the rules, and she could very well end up with a broken heart. She needs a stiff drink, and it had better be hard liquor.

Hard Liquor is the exciting conclusion to the Arthur Duet that begins with Stiff Drink.

Bloody Freakin' Brilliant!!

Arthur & Gen's Duet, Book 2 in audible is a sexy, sexed up, sexified ride of magnificence. Really, the brilliance of the depth of characters, the incredible real realities in Arthur's 'degenerate' life, Gen's lawyerly journey and the multitude of 'secondary' characters whom are so realistic they could walk off the page! I had to mull over the wording of my review for a while. However, there's nothing I can put, to portray the literal whirlwind we are privileged to be voyeurs in, in this book and Audio. I would rate this as a tumultuous tornado/cyclone, an F6. Just as you take a breath and sigh (Ah!, the eye of the hurricane, so to speak), you're snatched again into this heady sexy audio fantasy! This may be uncalled for, but I would LUV to have been able to watch narrator John Lane as he had my pulse racing, heart going crazy (I know you know what I mean) during the narration of certain scenes! Phew! Blair Babylon is stupendously brilliant, as always. John Lane's melted chocolate voice, inflections and nuances are excellent. Bloody freakin' brilliant! Don't miss it!

Love Author Finch-Hatten!!

This is Hard Liquor written by Blair Babylon. In this book we get to watch as Gen tries to defend Lord Author Finch-Hatten in a case against him from his brother, as his brother wants to take over as Earl of Severn. There is a lot going on and super secrets and sneakiness abound! It’s a great story in an even greater series!!

Fantastic! Both Book and Audio Narration!

I have been a super fan of Blair Babylon's writing for a very long time and I am thrilled her books have come alive in audiobook. John Lane provides superb narration for both accents and male and female parts seamlessly. This is book 2 of her Arthur duet and 3rd book of her runaway billionaires series. Quality writing and narration for a winning combination! Bonus, If you own the kindle books, whispersync is available! I guarantee you will enjoy a sexy narration for this book.

Deliciously James Bondish

I was hooked from the first book of Stiff Drink and got to have this one as it continues the saga of my very two favorite main characters - Gen and Arthur. All the way through the book, it is like witnessing James Bond who is an Earl falling in love with the feisty, sassy Gen who is a kick ass barrister. It was full of spies and espionage and plenty of BSDM and hot hot scenes with Gen and Arthur. John Lane is now my new British narrator…swooning over his voice. Thank you Blair Babylon for dreaming up these 3 hot alpha royal billionaires!

What a story with great narration.

This second book of Arthur and Gen’s story in both reading and listening form. Blair Babylon weaves a story that I couldn’t put down, and listening was just as compelling ....having to get to the end of a chapter and hope that I could stop. If you like descriptive and detailed reads, with wonderful characters then you need to read this series-actually you need to read the entire set of books! Great job Blair and such a great narrator in John Lane!

An epic conclusion to the duet

The conclusion to the Arthur Duet so if you haven’t read or listened to Stiff Drink then STOP and do so before you continue with Hard Liquor.

Having read/listened to a couple of books by Blair Babylon I enjoy her style of writing. Her characters are quirky and easy to relate too. Narrator John Lane, certainly brought Hard Liquor to life for me and had me swooning on various occasions. His voice was spot on in my opinion for Arthur Finch-Hatten and I enjoyed the variety of voices he used for the multiple characters, even the female ones.

Having listened to Stiff Drink I have been anxiously awaiting the conclusion to this duet and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the pairing of Genevieve(Gen) and Arthur and it was great to see some familiar characters pop up within the story.

Will Gen loose everything she has worked so hard for as she continues to become more and more involved with Arthur, or will the stress break them up? Will Arthur realize in time what he is giving up for the love of his country?

Hard Liquor is a well written, witty, suspenseful, romantic and at times steamy book that was an entertaining listen and I was totally invested from the first to the last chapter.

2nd in a Serries

Stiff Drink - book 1 should be read first. I really enjoyed listening to book 1.

Hard Liquor concluded the story from book 1. I enjoyed the story, although I thought it dragged on in several areas. Maybe binge listening wasn’t intended for this story. The narrator was very good. Many different accents and male and female voices were easy to understand,

Other books by the author are also very good.

Wow, awesome listen.

The final half of Arthur and Gen’s story. It has been awhile since I read these books, I had forgotten the excellent story line and the steam, well, bring a fan or some ice for this listen. John Lane does an outstanding narration. The twists and turns, romance, drama and intrigue make this audio entertainment at it’s finest. I recommend starting with “Stiff Drink”, the first half of this duet before this listen. Awesome!

More Arthur and Genevieve !!!

Arthur and Genevieve are taking their lawyer, client position a bit further. Genevieve is overwelmed by everything but hangs on for the ride that is known as a Very. Bad. Boy. Off to a wedding of the noble and not all is at it seems. And Max and Cas join the mix. The narrator does a fantastic job and is clear spoken. It brings the story to life.

Wonderful Story

Another wonderful story from Blair Babylon. Narrator could read the telephone book and I would listen.
