Publisher's summary

Kate Keene’s childhood memories compel her to take her newly-acquired architectural skills to a dilapidated Louisiana mansion. But when she returns to the Reconstruction-era South, she’s shocked to discover the man she’s dreamed of for so long has become a bitter, angry recluse.

Colin Delany, the handsome older brother of her best friend, has lost all he once held dear, with no hope of ever restoring the Belle Fleuve mansion and plantation. Filled with spunk and determination, Kate feels it’s her duty to help, so when Colin demands she roll up her drawings and get out, she refuses. And when Colin forces Kate to promise his dying sister they will care for his niece and nephew, she complies.

Having been orphaned herself, Kate realizes she must put the children’s welfare above her own, even if it means a marriage of convenience. But will Colin’s hovering darkness ever lift? And can Kate’s persistent love and faith transform their uncertain future? Book three in the Irish Angel series explores the hope of a reflection of love in a heart of glass."

Wrong Summary for Story

What did you love best about Heart of Glass?

It was an enjoyable story, however, it was less so because I was expecting a completely different story.

great series

Loved the series, but I wish Jill Marie Landis would wrap up the series with book 4. The story of the 4th sister.

Nice Finish to a Wonderful Series

It was nice to see this book was different than the other two. This sister (Kate) still has tragedy in her life but not like the other sisters. Kate had a better childhood and upbringing...she studied architecture and basically had her own career. This story is a love story of Kate and Colin. I wont give any of their story away but I did enjoy this book. I liked the ending because I felt it all came full circle and I love happy endings!

Tragedy angle switch was nice.

I liked this story. I liked that the tragedy was not completely on Kate and moved to Colin. Hate to think their family was only doomed for tragedy. Good series.

Heart of Glass: Irish Angels book 3

I enjoyed each of the first two in the series and anticipated the conclusion. It was quite different from either of the first two stories. As the story of this third sister unfolds her recollection of her childhood is clear, her childhood has not been marred by the tragedy of the others, yet there were deficiencies as well as blessings.

Once again a story of redemption plays strong in this book. One is the restoration of a home suffering from the effects of the war, another of a man wounded by war and yet another destroyed by wrong choices. You take the sorrow and the joy in this book.

I was disappointed that there was not more in the story about the sisters searching for the final two sisters. You need to wait for the epilogue for what seems to be the connection being tacked on as though suddenly remembering that it had to be included.

If the book had not been part of a series it could stand well on it’s own, as the conclusion of a series, it was a bit of a let down. A good story, a mediocre series finale, and yes, still worth the read.

Great Story- Disappointing End to Series

I actually enjoyed this story in the series the most. My only issue is that there are four sisters and a big part of book 2 was the two sisters meeting. The reunion between the three sisters was rushed. I would like a story about the 4th sister and the reunion of all four sisters.

Good story

This was a good story but they really didn't tie in the other two stories into the book, which I would have liked a little more.

Disappointed after the first two

I was so excited about this book coming out after reading the first two in the series. The story was no where near as captivating.

The Most Boring In The Series

Well that was really boring and disappointing, I really liked the first two books of the series and I was really excited to hear about Katie since she is so accomplished and has a mind of her own, but sadly Collin was such a drama queen that I couldn't see the charm in him at all, I think if Kate didn't "love" him since she was young I don't think she would ever see him a potential lover
I liked the children they were such a delight in this whole story since I didn't like the main relationship and I couldn't get Collin's logic for everything he done .. he is just trying to misunderstand Katie at every chance he gets and never listens to her explanations but for some reason she forgives him every single time !
I really hope there is a final book for Sara and Jesse because I can see the connection there .. so yeah

The narration is as excellent as always, this narrator is becoming one of my favorites, I like her diversity in accents and voice tones, excellent choice
