About this listen

A collection of three prequel novellas to the New York Times best-selling Dorothy Must Die series by Danielle Paige!

Follow Dorothy's iconic companions from the beloved classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz as all of their gifts become keys to the downfall of Oz.

After Dorothy Gale wished her way home, and long before Amy Gumm found herself in Oz, Dorothy's friends left the Road of Yellow Brick to go their separate ways. But in a place like Oz, where magic and temptation lurk, the gifts from the Wizard begin to take on a life of their own. The Tin Woodman becomes twisted with longing. The Scarecrow develops a taste for plotting. And doubt consumes the Cowardly Lion.

Kiss the land where troubles melt like lemon drops good-bye. Here, there's danger around every corner, and magical shoes won't be able to save you.

Epic

Good story, good background information, it explains many things and goes deeply into depth as to what is happening with each character and how their lives have chanced since the wizard of oz. It like the prequels volume 1 and the prequels volume 2. Also, keep in mind I did not yet read/listen to the actual series. I listened to the prequels first. I'm deciding whether I want to spend the money for stories volume 3 or just go straight to book 1 since I'm doing it that way.

Nothing like book 1

I liked Book 1. Book 2, no, it was just chapter after chapter of the Tinman's unrequited love for Dorothy. By chapter 8 (2 hours and 20 minutes into the book) it began to get gruesome. At this point I quit. It's not my cup of tea and i am returning the book and not continuing with the others in this series.

wow just wow

the first book was awsome with the different narrators but if you want to hear how much in love the tin man is and hear him whine about it the strawman and lion stories are to bad but the narrator is to bland for me so if your looking for something like the fist book you wont find that here
