But the silver lining here is that you can have a happily-ever-after if you survive. You can't fall in love if you're dead. It tends to spoil the romance.

Heir of the Beast is an entertaining tale and the 2nd book in the Fairy Godmother Inc series.
We are taken on quite an adventure with Viola who, after receiving a letter from the Fairy Godmother, agrees to enter a competition to win the heart of a Prince and her happily ever after.

Filled with danger and peril, the story was a unique and engrossing one and it had me hooked until the end. Apart from being a Fairytale Retelling with hints of Beauty and the Beast and Anastasia, we also get inter galactic space travel as Viola is transported to another planet where Prince Apollo resides, and she must catch his attention before someone else does.

Violet had her struggles, but managed to overcome them with the aid of her trusty sidekick Mort who was an awesome secondary character. Her chemistry with the Prince was intense and undeniable but it was not all sunshine and roses as there were many trials to overcome.

We are given many unexpected twists and turns throughout the book and were introduced to quite a few interesting characters who all played a role in the story

This was my first book from this author but it won't be my last. I really enjoyed this novel and can't wait for more in the Fairy Godmother Inc series. I would definitely recommend this novel to romance lovers.

The audiobook was narrated in Duet style by Alexa Borys and E.M. Wilder. They were both new to me and I enjoyed their narration of the story. Their voices were clear and understandable and they brought the characters to life. They made the listening experience an absolute delight.

The story is an amazing rollercoaster where you never know what’s next! Mild “romantic” scenes give you just enough of what you need while the storyline keeps you intrigued. I’ve never read another book quite like this one. Also, fantastic job to the narrators! I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be on Audible!

I've read the entire series already and have been impatiently waiting for the release of the audiobooks so I can enjoy the stories again while simultaneously doing chores. I love the dual narration and the narrators did a wonderful job bringing this story to life. Such a fun, action-packed ride filled with chemistry, romance, and friendships! I always recommend the books to everyone I know and will now be recommending the audiobooks. The remainder of the audiobooks can't come fast enough!

This book is amazing I read this book when it first came out in a book app. I have been so excited when I saw it coming out on audible and I was not disappointed. This audio had me falling in love with this story all over again. I highly, highly recommended this to anyone.

If you suspend your disbelief to accept that Fairy Godmother Inc is real and how things work, you’ll enjoy this. A bit of it was predictable, and I wanted the character to reach that conclusion already, but it’s alright because the dialogue was entertaining along the way. It made me smile, a laughed once or twice (from the character silliness), and I cried at the end. Thank goodness for that epilogue because otherwise I would’ve just cried; the “and they lived happily ever after” always makes me tear up though. Recommend this read! I’m now impatiently waiting for book 2 to come out in audiobook duet form.

If you want some banter and wittiness with a sprinkle pop culture references this is your book. I cannot wait the next one. I just hope the remainder of the series come out in audiobook format.
P.s. please make sure the voice actors are the same or on par with these two lovely gems. Alexa and E.M Wylde were phenomenal.

No matter how you consume this book, it is fantastic! The voices were great and mingled well together. The story itself keeps you going and guessing. You’ll love all the references and visuals that are painted. The characters are fun and relatable. If you like fairytales, with a twist and some spice, you’ll love this whole series!

This was a second read for me, and I loved Heir of the Beast even more this time around! The audiobook completely elevated my experience, making me fall even deeper in love with the story. This is one book I would love to see adapted into a movie or TV series—it has all the charm, adventure, and romance to make it unforgettable on screen.

Viola, the FMC, is such a lovable and relatable character. Her personality shines through every page, and her inner dialogue had me laughing out loud. She’s witty, sarcastic, and impossible not to root for. And Apollo? Swoon. He’s the perfect balance of charm and intensity.

The narrators did a phenomenal job bringing every character to life—not just Viola and Apollo, but the side characters as well. I think I just found my new favorite voice actors! I’m beyond excited for the next audiobook in the series. If you haven’t listened to/read this yet, I highly recommend it. 100% worth the listen!
