About this listen

Essence® best-selling authors Kiki Swinson and De’nesha Diamond are two rising stars in the world of urban fiction. Heist presents two novellas starring young women hustling their way to the top of the game through daring robbery schemes. In Swinson’s The Ultimate Heist, pampered Shannon Marshall is accustomed to a big-money lifestyle. Her world is shattered, however, when her man is thrown into prison for gun running. Now he’s hatching a plan from jail, and Shannon’s going to have to put her neck on the line if she wants her life of luxury back. Diamond’s Robyn Banks follows DEA Agent Jordan Hayes, a young woman determined to never lead a life of crime like her father. But her conviction is tested when her dad’s gangster crony Keston Bishop begins work on an elaborate robbery, and Jordan becomes intoxicated by the danger and power he radiates.

I didn't want the story to end, I was so lost in it that I hadn't realized I was done working for the night.

The first book was okay, just two short. Seems like it was rush to get to the end and certain things were just forced.

The second two was a bit better, but somewhat unrealistic. At times I found myself getting lost in the narratives. I expected more from each stories.

This is two separate stories put in one book.
