About this listen

Kira owns a profitable hair and nail salon. She lives in a nice home in an exclusive community with her husband Ricky, an infamous, well-known drug dealer from the rough streets of DC. He is also known to be one of the most feared men in the South.

Because of Ricky's drug-empire, Kira finds herself in the most dangerous situation ever. Ricky forces Kira to believe that he's going to call on his reinforcements, so everything will end in his favor. However, unknown to Ricky, Kira felt the need to devise an escape plan on her own. Will she choose loyalty or her life?

In a world where everyone wants to be wifey; the question is--can you play your position and handle the drama the streets will throw your way?

Lady narrator was trash

Lady narrator was trash - she should have got Nicole Smalls - I love this book but hard to enjoy because of the female narrator…but Kiara nosey 😂😂😂😂 - but I loved it

great narration

This is overall a pretty good book. I liked it the narration between the two narrators is great. The only thing Rush was typical I mean I knew he was too forthcoming and she was too stupid to think that he was gonna like her that was garbage but overall it was a good book.

Not what I expected

The narration of this story was a bit strange; not sure this method was a good fit for this story. Phoenix did a good job but it was the format in which it was presented. The storyline was so so; I somewhat predictable. Won’t listen to the rest of series.
