About this listen

Will Axel steal this thief's heart? Axel's got a score to settle. Growing up, Axel dreamed of living a normal life as a law-abiding citizen with a good woman at his side. But life has a way of kicking your dreams in the teeth. Now he owns Seventh Circle Motors and spends his days working on cars and his nights by himself. The Four Horsemen have been blackmailed into a partnership with a bootlegger and mobster, Byron Beauregard. As the new club president, Axel wants to shut that down.

Charlie's got a grudge of her own. Charlie Nash has been getting a five-fingered discount ever since she was a little girl. Her father, a master thief, trained her to be the best and she always gets the job done clean and quick. After catching her squatting in the club's hotel, the MC asks her to steal from Beauregard. Can she make time for love when she's got her own score to settle with the Lone Star Mafia?

The story is good

I love the books about bikers clubs, but in this books the author make them look so dumb like they couldn't do one thing right ... it was little hard to listen

Relationship took too long to develop

The way that Axel avoided any developing relationship with Charlie ruined the intensity of the book for me. It isn’t uncommon for either the Hero or the Heroine to try and discourage a relationship but, it continued Until the last couple of chapters of the book. I really started to get annoyed. I listen to a romance novel to enjoy the actual romance. Of course, Axel went from not wanting a relationship to being desperately in love in 2.5 seconds. (Exaggeration, but you get my point)
I just wasn’t even able to enjoy all the club drama, going on, due to my increasing impatience with the development of the H/h romance.
I’m glad I finished the book so I could,be in the know, about the club’s troubles but, It definitely was my least favorite book, of the series.

Where was the romance or even any sex?

This is supposed to be a biker book. A romance book. Let's just say it felt like A group of Boy Scouts. I'm so disappointed with this book that I didn't want to finish it. There was more inner dialogue than anything. Even the romance and sex was all inner dialogue. Because there was nothing romantic going on just a lot of people talking about how to get the gun back and not have to do the drug deal. Save your credit!!!
