What a nice journey to travel.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just felt I had to on these three books. there is a lot going on in this Trilogy and sometimes that leaves me confused in places. I didn't have that at aii here. People, angels, demons and more came through and it all flowed so nicely that it was actually relaxing no matter what mayhem was afoot. Battles, power trips, deception. murder and more battles and i just enjoyed it. They left me feeling strangely calm. The characters had life to them, some I loved, lots not so much. The series is just a nice fantasy that was just as complicated as it needed to be, and no clutter. I just liked it.

A Worthy Ending

If you're wondering to yourself..."Is this ending worth reading? Is it up to the hype?"

I personally cannot stress how much it absolutely is! I enjoyed every moment listening to the tense and adventure filled chapters. It was well rounded, spilling both anguish and love into a pot of conflict and clash. After the second book, I sat thinking that one last book could not finish up everything so far laid out, but it really came through. I did yearn for more concrete things from the epilogue and final chapters but I was satisfied even then. If you are looking to finish up this series without disappointment, getting this book is a must!

Always look forward to this author

I loved this trilogy. Looking forward to anything else Benjamin Medrano releases in the future. Sarah Beth Goer did an excellent job with narration.

great story

Good story, storytelling, characters, descriptions .... I will definitely recommend this book and the trilogy.
I have only two bits of what I hope is helpful, constructive feedback for the author and/or editor. One, I wanted there to be fewer adverbs (in other words, more specific verbs and adjectives instead sometims) and less repetition of the same adverbs in close proximity. For example, "wryly" and "quickly" were used a lot and in unusually close proximity, I thought. I noticed this especially in the 2nd and 3rd books. I'm not sure about the first book. Two, I wanted more variety in the descriptions of types of smiles, more variety than "smiled thinly" and "smiled wryly." (I wish I knew how to spell "wryly"!) Those minor details said, I really loved your story, your characters, and your writing, in general, and will be reading or listening to another of your books very soon! I also loved the reader performance.

Best of both worlds

Fighting without the mental melodrama and polyamory without porn.

All in all this is an awesome series and I highly recommended it. If the 200+ in my collection it will be the first I would gift to friends and family.

Fantastic!

This was a fantastic series and I am sad to see it end here but I am so happy with the end and how it seems to keep it open rather then the and they all lived happily ever after ending you get with some stories. I may be a fanboy of the books by Benjamin at this point but I do not care and I will happily say its not perfect but its so dam good you wont care BUY this SERIES not just this book but the series its worth it I promise you!

The Mantel’s of Power series comes to a fulfilling end with the conclusion of Hell’s Ascendant. This has been a very enjoyable ‘page turner’.
