About this listen

Me: What turns you on? Him: Confidence, communication, passion, intensity. Four words. Four, very sexy, words. His reply to my question. His response.

Him: I've always been known as a ladies' man...but I'm ready for something different. I've retired from pro soccer and am starting a new stage in my life. I want a partner, a lady friend - dare I say, wife material? But old habits die hard, right? And right now SF49girl has my attention.

Her: I don't have time in my life for a relationship. I'm too damned busy with my career. Sure, I've got needs...and I take care of those casually, finding what I need online - but I'm just not the right type to be a wife or mother.

Ryan Farish has always been known as a ladies' man. A famous, newly-retired soccer player - he's had a change of heart and is seeking a committed relationship with a woman of his dreams.

SF49girl, a.k.a. Casandra is a very successful businesswoman residing in San Francisco who has many private sexual conquests to her name. Using online dating websites and casual sex forums, she finds her lovers via the Internet. Most never make it to her bed, but of those who do, they find themselves enjoying her and her toy box. Smart, safe, and savvy - she's been content and satisfied not being in the confines of a relationship until she meets Ryan online.

Drawn to one other with unexpected playful, erotic intimacy, will the online relationship wither and die like so many have before? Or will it blossom and turn into something tangible, in the real world?

Cute romance

I had read this book before I listened to it, so I was familiar with the story. This particular book has less to do with sports and more to do with online romance/sex. It was a nice change that the guy (Ryan) was more interested in a relationship than the girl (Celeste). I found the story refreshing and realistic with it not being an "instal-love" book. I was voluntarily provided with this review audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Her Baller

The story itself was good. Ryan and and Celeste are two people living a no strings attached lifestyle when they meet in a chat and have been communicating with each other. There was some comedy, romance and hotness. I would have liked it to be a two person narration it is kind of hard to get into the feel you loose part of the story when they are portraying both characters.

Good short read.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend this book. The story line was interesting.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Her Baller?

The most memorable moment is when Celeste fell down the stairs.

What didn’t you like about Steven Washington’s performance?

The reading was a little blah for me. That made it very hard for me to listen. It was an interesting story, but I had keep stopping because there was very little emotion in the readers voice.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I probably wouldn't go to a movie theater to see it. I might watch it on television.
