So much going on with this story that I was a bit confused for a minute. I knew Grace was hiding a lot about what happened after she and Camden broke up. The drama that unfolded within this tale had me pretty upset and even though Grace pulled away from her mother I still wanted to choke her mother out for the way she treated her when she was younger. I can't wait until I read about Martin and what all the busy bodies are going to do to help interfere.

Cam & Grace have history. What that history is depends on which you hear from. Unfortunately for Cam, Gracd holds a huge drudge against Cam regarding his presumed wrong dling and refuses to discuss it or even talk to him. Cam knows he handled everything wrong. He still holds onto his perceived hurt and has yet to talk with Grace about it. It is all a mess.

Cam has become aware of a threat to Grace and is determined to get to the bottom of it. Grace, being a stubborn fool throughout most of the story refuses to talk to anyone about anything.

I became impatient with her overall attitude. She thinks only of herself and in doing so hurts those who care about her. In my opinion, she needed to grow a pair and woman up. The turn came suddenly and ended abruptly.

I hope Michael gets his story soon.

I didn't care for Rebecca Estrella's narration. I may give her another chance with something else to see if it is her or the direction she was given. Her pacing was off, at times she sounded stilted and emphasized the names in such a way it was unnatural.

I love this author normally. But for some reason in this series she wrote all the women as stupid!!!! Somehow putting yourself in danger, and acting like a childish brat is supposed to make the females strong. Nope exact opposite. Strength is knowing when you need help and excepting it without throwing a tantrum and yelling how strong they are, and how they don’t need anyone... ugh. If I was the parent of the guys in this series, I would of told them to run the other way!!!
