About this listen

The Armstrong brothers are wealthy, wild-at-heart bad boys—until their father's will demands they prove themselves and marry in order to inherit their fortune.

Eldest brother Cooper channels his reckless spirit into becoming CEO of his own airline. The only thing better than the adrenaline rush of flying is his one-night stand with a stunning stranger. At first he doesn't recognize the fiery barista he clashes with years later at an airport coffee shop. But when Stormy Halifax turns up as his new house sitter, Cooper knows she's his Cinderella. And he doesn't just want her in his mansion. He wants her back in his bed.

Stormy can't believe she's living under Cooper's roof. Gorgeous and arrogant, he's convinced she'll surrender again—and he's right. But just as Stormy is succumbing to a world of pleasure, her trust is shattered. And the biggest challenge Cooper has ever faced will be proving he wants Stormy, now and forever, for all the right reasons.

Great book. Good narration.

I will definitely look for the other books in the series. The characters were charming and definitely drew you into the story. I feel the author did a great job of making sure this book was centered around the main characters, yet made sure we were fully introduced to the characters of future books.

Turbulent Intentions

Loved this one! A whole new group of brothers who need help with matchmaking and now Sherman has taken over the task and helping out his nephews. Cooper is first up after the death of his father and the stipulations of the will. None of the brothers like the terms but Cooper doesn't falter and takes hold of his life and strikes out and becomes CEO of his own airline. He has always loved to fly and this is the perfect way for him to live...and he still pilots his own planes. The only thing missing is a woman in his life. There was one who got under his skin, a one night affair who ran from him and even though he looked for her he never forgot her. Stormy has led a difficult life but she doesn't let it get her down and even though she may become homeless in a matter of hours and her customer service job at the airport is trying at times especially when a certain pilot shows up at her counter and is arrogant and doesn't recognize her. They has a one-night stand 6 years ago and she instantly recognizes him but he doesn't know her. Soon, though, Sherman has her instilled in Cooper's home and nature takes its course and it doesn't take him long to finally remember her. Chemistry has a way of finding a way. Definitely a keeper and now I cannot stop until I get the next one in this series!

Loved it

As an add on the Anderson's this was a great book with some great ups and downs. I listened to this in audio and I have to say it's the best way to "read" a book. Cooper isn't looking for love when his father thrusts an ultimatum at him on his death bed. That's when Cooper meets Stormy. It's for one magical night. It took 6 years to get them back together and then he doesn't even remember her at first. With some help from Uncle Sherman these two are thrust back into each others lives. With some misunderstandings and a crash will these two ever get their happy ending? You will have on read I find out.

I was quickly attached to characters and couldn’t stop listening all night! I am glad for complete happy ending with Baby William’s birth.

Welcome To The Mile High Club!

This is my first Melody Anne story, and overall it was good, but compared to other contemporary romances in my library, this one did leave me feeling little underwhelmed. It had a decent plot, the characters were likable, and there is some romance, but there all on the milder side. I give this story three stars, had it been more intense, or exciting, it would have easily been a four star story.

Some spoilers;
On his deathbed, the father to the Armstrong brothers gives his sons some shocking news about his last wishes. In order for the brothers to receive their inheritance, they must clean up their act, become successful members of society, and marry. The brothers collectively are not happy about the news, and each handle it their own way. Six months later, Cooper Armstrong is out with his brother, having a good time, when he meets a beautiful women. They talk, flirt, and spend the night together, but they never give their names. The next morning, while Stormy is doing her walk of shame, she tells herself this was just a one night stand, and she will never see her dreamy green eye guy again. Six years later, Stormy is working at a small latte shop located in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and is shocked speechless when she comes face to face with her dreamy green eye guy. She gets frazzled when she realizes this arrogant, confident, sexy airplane pilot doesn't remember her.... at all. That's fine with her, she just won't tell him, and will deflect all his advances. Through a series of unfortunate events, they end up in the same house, and when recognizes finally sets in, the games begin. Along the way, there's plot twists, romance and a few sex scenes.....some more steamier than others.

This is the first story I've listened too narrated by Teri, and I thought she did a great job. Yeah, I would have preferred a m/f dual narration, but Teri did a great job on both the m/f characters.

While the story did leave me feeling underwhelmed, it kept me engaged, the narration was good, and we get insight into the other brothers. They all sounded intriguing, especially Ace, so I hoping the next story will be more exciting. We'll see. I listened for free with KU.

Amazing start to the series!

I've already listened to this book twice, and it's one I'll keep coming back to. the story of Cooper Armstrong, the eldest of 4 brothers, trying to make a name for himself. After a one-night stand at a wedding that he can't forget, his path crosses with Stormy again 6 years later. Great writing, and amazing narration on Audible. I can't wait for the rest if the series!
