About this listen

Ye screw with this lass, ye get put on yer ass.

When Maxwell sends Team Trouble to investigate a series of unfortunate events, we discover that everything in Texas is bigger-including the mayhem.

Between hexed hijinks, rodeo riots, and line-dancing drama, my team has its hands full . . .

And that's before things really go to hell.

When the baggage of disgruntled exes and slighted gods and goddesses get thrown into the mix, the violence of the empowered world hits way too close to home.

But through it all, we find strength in the same place as always . . . in the love of family and friends.

Just When I Thought It Couldn’t Get Any Better‼️

I’m Amazed by how much the intimacy amongst all of seemingly inseparable members of this tightly-knit clan, has ❤️ affected my heart and soul since I started reading the Series from the very beginning of the FIRST Series!
The characters are so well written, even the Big Bads, and those who are sorta in the Gray area of Good Vs. Evil, i.e., the Vampire populace.

The adventures are edge of your seat, nail-bitingly interesting, inspiring, never get old nor dull. Changing Locations, while still having ties to Toronto, Montreal, Ireland, Greece, The Hidden Island, and all of the new Cities “Team Trouble” gets sent to are just an added bonus for our beloved characters to use their powers, and abilities in places they’ve never been.
While also returning to familiar and familial ground to keep trouble from ripping through their back doors 🚪 Literally!

Team Trouble’s new cases allow them to meet lots of new beings from both the Empowered and non-empowered sectors.
Via Team Trouble, beings of all species become new additions to the Cumhaill Clan for future adventure tales.

They also keep involved with Original Characters since the beginning of the Series, such as Da, Gran & Grandda, Myra, Merlin, Maurice, Patty, the Dragons, Liam, Shannon, Keenu, plus all of the new Children.
This allows for more variety in future adventures, due to the sheer amount of characters, places and things that could Magically affect them all, and come around to bite them in their proverbial arses, could be seriously never ending and continually Entertaining!

Another great installment

The story did a great job of blending in some new aspects of Clan “Cool”. I liked learning more about Bruin’s backstory. I’m interested to see how living on the island works into the coming books.

Love the storyline and the excitement!

I really love the family and the fun magical beings. My only problem is the voice used for Dartamont. It's so sappy and kind of eeyore. I get taken out of the story every time I hear it.

Perfect narration! Loved the story!

Loved the story, perfect world building, LOVED the characters, my favorite all time series starting with book one that introduced the characters, A Guilded Cage. I have them all on audio and re-listen OFTEN.
