About this listen

He is on a mission....

Garrick Sinclair, an expert archer and Robert the Bruce's best mercenary, is sent on a covert operation to the Borderlands by his older brother, Laird Robert Sinclair. He never expects to meet the most beautiful woman he's ever seen - who turns out to be the sister of Raef Warren, his family's mortal enemy. Though he knows he shouldn't want her - and doesn't deserve her - can he resist the passion that ignites between them?

She longs for freedom....

Jossalyn Warren is desperate to escape her cruel brother and put her healing skills to use, and perhaps the handsome stranger with a dangerous look about him will be her ticket to a new life. She never imagines that she will be spirited away to Robert the Bruce's secret camp in the Highlands, yet more shocking is the lust the dark warrior stirs in her. But can she heal the invisible scars of a man who believes he's no hero?

Another success from Emma Prince!

Book 2 of the Sinclair brothers trilogy has lived up to the standards I have now formed for Ms. Prince. Her writing along with Tim Campbells naerarion have seen me through the years of the bodyguard series and now this one with never ending statisfaction. I love every couple and thier stories in both series and with only one left find I am excited to hear it but sad as well as I will truly miss theses character's in both series as well as a glimpse into life in medieval Scotland. Garrick and Jocelyn are both wonderful characters, who exhibit strength and honor. Their love for each other mirroring those qualities. I am sure I will enjoy this story as well as all the others again and again. Thank goodness I have them all in my library!

Exciting, passionate and moving

This series is set in a dangerous and tumultuous time in Scotland and there is plenty of suspense, danger and intrigue here. I really enjoyed Garrick, who is an archer and ace assassin for Robert the Bruce in his fight for Scottish independence. He is an interesting character since he does not see himself as a hero, but as someone that no woman could love. In contrast, Jossalyn is an expert healer who values every life. There are sparks and secrets, fear and mistrust but also great romance and passion between the two. There are some steamy scenes. The backdrop of the war going on makes this fast-paced and very interesting. I listened on Audible and Tim Campbell, as always, nails the accents and voices. Jossalyn's brother is a truly evil feature in this story as he was in the first book. Read them all!.

Highlanders Redemption

I enjoyed this audio book very much. it was a very good story, but I thought that the first one was better. I love all most anything read by this narrator, I still wish they would use a woman to read the female parts then the books would be perfect. Bonnie

Great Story

Loved the book! Great story. Great and lovable characters. It definitely left me wanting more on these two. I enjoyed the detailed information about the difference in the weaponry in this case the bow. I liked that the author included very reliable detail about the time period including the atrocities committed against rival clans and of the English against Scottish and vice versa. The only negative to the story line was the historical inaccuracies and even though I appreciate the authors note at the end of the book, I still prefer that the story was historically accurate. I believe that the author could’ve included Edward I aka “Longshanks” into the book while having his son Edward II as king. Other than that, it’s a great story and unless you are a big history buff I don’t think many would even notice.

A little to much :) Great story

Really good story lots of action smart women ,courageous women, but a little bit too much graphic sex for me to listen to in mixed company.

Highlander’s Redemption—

When a hardened warrior who feels he’s not worthy of love finds a stowaway lass hiding hidden in his wagon—sparks between the two further ignite and the action begins!
An excellent follow up to book one in the Sinclair Brothers Trilogy collection. The narrator, Tim Campbell, brings the story to life with his rich voice and lively presentation. I am looking forward to book 2.5, a novella featuring cousin, Burke Sinclair who appears in both Book 1 and Book 2.

Great Narration and Great Story

I love Garrick and Jossalyn! Garrick is the perfect highland warrior: caring, compassionate, possessive, rugged, confident, humble, strong, and intelligent. Jossalyn was confident in her healing abilities and has her own mind. There is a maturity to this story that is not always seen in historical romance. This story has an intriguing plot with complex characters and isn’t dependent solely on their relationship. I appreciate how Emma always weaves consent into the steam, which makes it even better.
