About this listen

Danielle arrives on Everis excited to meet her new mate. She watches as her friends find happiness while haunted by dreams of an Everian Hunter who will not come for her - a mate who refuses to claim her. But something isn’t right. The dreams turn dark. Tortured. Her mate is suffering, and nothing will stop her from finding him - especially not his stern orders to choose another, to protect herself above all others, and cherish her life above his own.

Gage of Everis is heir to a seat on the Seven, the ruling council of families that have held power on Everis for thousands of years. He’s the last prince of his line, the last surviving heir, and someone doesn’t want him to rise to his place on the ruling council. Betrayed, tortured, and alone, Gage has found solace in knowing he’s protected his Marked Mate from sharing his fate. But his stubborn bride refuses to listen to reason.

When she finds him, there will be a reckoning. Not only is Gage determined to find those who betrayed him, but to conquer the wild huntress who came for him in the dark and stole his heart.

Fated Mate Romance

I certainly enjoyed the storyline development. There were also a couple of twists I didn’t see coming. They were a pleasant surprise.

Love loved it.

It was a happy ending but the character development, courtship, sex and family made this a complete story. I’ve listened to twice. The continued story of the family is a gift./trap. You want to learn about them each time. ENJOY!!!!

Good wrap up

Dani, the last of the three friends to become a Virgin bride has an adventurous love story from start to finish. We are also updated on her two friends and their mates.
Dani may have had to wait till last to find her love, but Gage is a handsome prince worth the wait.
Liked this one. Read it twice.

Only 1 male narrator is not always pleasant

I have listened to almost all of the Insterstellar Bride books, & this one, having only 1 narrator, a male, is off-putting for the female characters' scenes. The female characters come off sounding weird & not pleasant. I love all of the Interstellar Bride books regardless of the series, & they all flow & interact with each other. So just as an FYI: The best way to listen to all the Interstellar books (bride, cyborg, beast, virgin) is to listen to them in order of release date & book #. Do not listen to them separately solely based on the individual series because all of the series' books interact with the characters & timelines from the other books in all the different Interstellar Bride series.

Epic Story, Unexpected Plots, Deliciously Sensual

The imagery was fantastic. The storyline was riveting. And Joshua did a brilliant job - so yummy!

Good but something was missing at the end

The ending felt a little rushed. I wish we could had a little more detail about why the brother did what he did. I wish we had a little more dialogue between the two brothers the end.

What happened?

The one male narrator was very annoying. Couldn’t get a sense of the characters as this narrator’s voice was so distracting.

Sooo much filler! And the narration…

Why do so many male narrators choose the drag queen voice for female characters? The drag queen voices and sing-song voices…or both meshed as one are kind of offensive. Consider wear the character is from, not all female characters are queens from queens.

Also, the amount of filler leads to playing the book at 2.5 to get to the next action that moves the story along.

I love the author, which is why it hurts to give this whole series 2 stars. The narrator immediately takes 2 points off, the cliché story like and filler really should take another 2…and the low level comprehension of most romance novels automatically takes one off every single romance novel. An author really needs to work for that 5 stars and this book should get zero…but I really do like the author for a dirty summer escape..just not these.

Struggle to finish.

Lord, the narrator was so boring, drag the story. It felt like the story will not finish, 5 hours felt like an eternity, I think I dose off time to time. The story was fine but would have been better with another narrator, more life. A real snooze.
