About this listen

You think you know Hollywood Hulk Hogan ? Brother, you don't know squat about me.

Yeah, I'm the towering red-and-yellow warrior who revolutionized the wrestling business, the larger-than-life superhero who transformed an entire country into a horde of Hulkamaniacs . I'm the guy who spit blood and breathed fire to help create an empire called World Wrestling Entertainment .

But it wasn't always like that. Once I was a fat kid named Terry Bollea watching legends like Dusty Rhodes and Superstar Billy Graham, never dreaming I'd be a professional wrestler myself one day.

Find out what makes me cry like a baby and what makes my blood boil. Then tell me you know the man called Hollywood Hulk Hogan.

Join the Babe Ruth of wrestling on a gritty, no-holds-barred odyssey from his start in the barbaric wrestling arenas of the '70s through the humiliation of his involvement in federal steroid-abuse trials to the achievement of his greatest triumph yet.

Along the way, lock up with the likes of Mr. T, Ted Turner, The Rock...and of course, Vince McMahon, head of World Wrestling Entertainment.

What did you like best about Hollywood Hulk Hogan? What did you like least?

I appreciated that he read the book himself. I didn't care for the portrayal of himself as the bigger person in every negative situation he encountered, or the obvious butt-kissing of Vince McMahon.

Any additional comments?

Don't use a credit on this particular audio book. It's written from the perspective of the character Hulk Hogan for the most part (including all the "brother" references), and lacks good details. I don't expect dirt but Mick FOley adds much detail without being disparaging. I'm sure there's much more to Hogan's life experience than this. It's mostly filler, brother.

This was written and read in character.

Could have listened another 15days to this amazing man tell his story. I've been a Hulkamaniac since I first saw him wrestle in 1981. #HH4Life

Love the Hulkster!!

I love that this was narrated by Hulk himself. But, the storyline about Vince McMahon is pretty soft and comes across as highly "edited" and insincere. It feels like the Hulkster was trying too hard to get a WWE endorsement of his book to boost sales.

Seriously Lacking Sincerity

I had read this book 15+ years ago, and the audio version cuts like half the book out. The stories I really wanted to hear were cut, it was BS, actually

I wasn't happy with this. I had read this book 15+

Why didn’t he talk about the Andre versus hogan match? He should have. I’m not sure if it’s a joke or something but it was the best best best best best book I have listened to #RA4LIFE

This made my respect for Hulk Hogan go way up. I didn’t think it could go any higher but it did. I loved listening to him tell his own story. Everyone should buy this book.

What made the experience of listening to Hollywood Hulk Hogan the most enjoyable?

His performance, classic Hulkster! You don't rwally learn anything new about the man known as Terry Bolella, but it's just a great listen.

Any additional comments?

Please get the unabridged version!!!!

Hey Brother!

Not bad book but very general. No secrets No big revelations and lacking the depth you would hope for when listening to one of the biggest figures in sports entertainment . Ok if you are a Higan fan otherwise take a pass until more details and depth can be added to his story

Enjoyed hearing Hogan narrate
