The story that lends a path to Everlasting Life in the Kingdom of Heaven

I have read the Bible and now I have listened to it as well. A account of historical events dating back to roughly 4000 B.C. narrated and told by the people who experienced these events first hand. From Moses to Noah to Abraham to King David to Mathew, Mark, Luke , John, apostle Paul and many others who authored the individual books in the Bible, truly and by far the most compelling book I have ever read. I have found new purpose in life through the will of God which I’ve come to understand through these scriptures. I pray that you too will find the grace of God that lives in the words within as I have.

Obsessed!!

I love this dramatized version of the Bible. It’s been challenging for me to listen to the Bible as much as I want but this has made it easy and engaging. 1000% recommend and easily the most well-rounded English version (in my humble opinion).

Voice = AWESOME; Music = DISGUSTING

MIke Kellogg's voice is sensational.

But holy cow, audio publishers... WHY add background music to this!? Inevitably, some people are going to hate the distraction, and more people (like me) are going to hate the quality of the mixing AND be distracted too. A very unfortunate double whammy.

Plus, it's all synthy instrumentation that sounds horrid. At the very least, why not use actual acoustic instruments?

A ridiculously bad production decision that's insulting to the audience who expects a clean and respectful delivery of an amazing translation of the Holy Bible. (The 'musician' was probably a relative of a Tyndale executive.)

And actually, the engineering of the voice track is completely mental throughout: the loudness levels are absolutely all over the place. Check out pretty much any transition from one chapter to the next, and you're likely to go 'woah there!' [For the nerds out there: check out a basic waveform display of the audio signal. Crikey.]

*** Dear Tyndale (and Audible): Please release a PROPERLY engineered 'voice only' version. I'd pay a lot extra for that. Seriously.

But still, this is a great reading.

Best voice

Mike Kellogg’s voice is as intriguing and as easy to listen to as Morgan Freeman. He does an amazing job with this translation of the Bible. I’ve been listening to it for 20+ years.

These words echo into my soul while I sleep and throughout my day it’s changing me! Hebrews 4:12-13

Can you stop listening? Can you stop listening to the one who speaks a language your heart longs to hear, your spirit craves to feel or your tongue wishes to speak ~ the sweet words, life saving and a treasure so rich and pure beyond earth and man’s reach? Can you stop listening and gathering and striving to apply ~ to all your wounds and salve for your eyes to see and remove the callous this world molds within us but now to touch and feel and share God’s freeing truth from flesh and walk in spirit with any and all you meet? No I can not stop listening! I have yet to find the word Trinity or Holy Trinity Christmas or Easter, Valentine’s Day or any of the Holidays that we say are for God (Exodus 32) How crazy, If you google them they are PEGAN!!!! AND Trinity is not in ANY BIBLE!!! WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? I’m going to keep on my search if anyone has ever found these words in a bible please let me know. It is so clear to me that THE LORD OUR GOD HATES PEGAN TEACHING AND MIXING IT INTO OUR WORSHIP (all minor prophets) and also Acts 17;16-31 et al. This is an amazing life changing experience for me!!! I purchased other bible versions and will be comparing them. BRAVO THE WORD OF GOD IS PURE and crushes all false teachings. Thank you to the translators and the reader and musicians.

Really Well Done

I enjoyed the entire production. Everything about this recording is spot on. The music is not a distraction. I rather enjoyed the background music. Also the sequence of the chapters line up nicely. Made it very easy to search and find the books of the Bible. Listening to it is very easy on the ear. Thank you so much for ad excellent product. Loving it. Blessings. Ben Missionary

Good, but ...

the music is distracting and annoying. It makes it hard to concentrate on the message.

Great way to study the Bible while driving for work.

The only thing I wish was better was the fluctuations in volume level between chapters. They were drastic.
