About this listen

Falling for a handsome stranger on the very morning they meet is hardly what recently divorced Abby Miller planned for her return to Seaview Key. Hoping to mend an old friendship and to give back to the community she loves, Abby's definitely not looking for love.

For ex-soldier Seth Landry, Seaview Key seems like the perfect place to heal a broken heart...eventually. And when he rescues a beautiful woman on the beach, his nightmares about the past are eclipsed by daydreams about the future.

Neither Abby nor Seth are looking for forever, but powerful love has its own timetable. And taking a chance on the future will test their courage in ways neither of them could possibly have anticipated.

This book was an excellent, easy read. It follows Abby’s return to Seaview Key after having been away for many years; she has inherited her parent's house and land and hopes to do some development on it. Abby first has to face her childhood friends and a town that may not want her. The performance was excellent, but the story moved slowly.

Nice easy read

I'm a big Sherryl Woods fan so I'm really happy that the Seaview stories are now here to listen to as well as read. I love the 2 Seaview books and stories, and the narrator really did a nice job of bringing the characters to life, I feel like I got to know Abby and Seth much better having listened to these books compared to when I read them a few years ago, and I may even listen again soon. It was that pleasurable. Please keep the Sherryl Woods books coming Audible!

Lovely story, Lovely narration

Loved this book. Just like its predecessor, everything about it was exactly what a good love story should be about. Thank you Sherryl Woods!

Hard to turn off…

The narrator voice was to soft. Had a hard time understanding the narrator when she was whispering. No real inflection as she read the story. I love Sherryl Woods books and listen to Audible books all the time. The narration of this book made me stop and start listening over and over…hard to get into the story.

Please write a book three to this story! I so enjoyed the characters and would love to read another book in the series!!

Great story!

I have read through two complete series by Woods. Unfortunately this book doesn’t live up to the others. Seems like she phoned it in and just included all of the cliche romance novel arcs. There was very little character development. I couldn’t wait for it to end from the start.

Skip It

The story is repetitive, so it moves slowly. The narrator reads as if she is reading a bedtime story, which was fine because I listen as I'm going to sleep.

I would’ve preferred less back and forth in denial and more progression with the relationship. I was pleased with the outcome it just took too long to get there.
