This is very short but soo sweet and a little steamy. I don't always enjoy fantasy but I love Jaydas sweet stories and this did not disappoint. This had the same wonderful writing and loveable characters u would expect from one of her stories with the added twist of one of the MCs being a demon from hell who is allowed to go to earth one day a year on Halloween to look for his fated mate and bring him back to hell with him forever.

The narrator did a fantastic job with this and it was a pleasure to listen to.

I'm not going to lie, I literally snorted out loud during this book. It's one thing to read with your eyes when it comes to some stories but it's a whole other thing when it comes to reading with your ears.

So we have here a twink named Brighton and a demon named Uri. (I don't want to say his name, cause you know...) who meet and instamate one Halloween night. We also have Sanji? I'm not sure how to spell it who I would love to read a story about.

So they all meet and decide to go to Hell and you can only visit our world on Halloween night. Yes, Sanji went too.

I was not lying about snorting when I read about the swallowing of the tongue and the pink perfect you know what.

The narrator did a good job, Denver Stevens is new to me, my only quibble was the sound effects when Uri was thinking in his head.

Typical narration with a little bit of music at the beginning (which was slightly distracting) and at the end (wasn’t as distracting).

Denver did an echoey voice for (what I’m assuming were) Yuri’s thoughts which was something unexpected and different. This is my first audiobook by him so I don’t know if that’s something he did for this book or if it’s something he does for all his narrations.

The story was pretty good. Super short with a little sweet and heat.

I recommend if you like these tropes. Also, listen to the sample to make sure you like the audio.

I loved this book. Denver Stevens' voice really brings this story to life. On Halloween night the veil is lifted between the worlds. Uri is a demon who punishes humans in the afterlife. They get one night a year o Earth. Uri found his mate but can he convince him to come with him before the night is up?

One night to be free of all responsibilities, demon from hell, Uri is free to roam earth and live a little.
When he sets eyes on spritely Brighton, he knows his life has irrevocably changed. He has found his fated mate.
Now just to convince him to return to hell with him.

A quick story to listen to, with engaging characters and a fast paced storyline. There is a bit of an echo used for the characters internal musings which takes some getting used to.
Overall, an entertaining listen.
