the story was simplistic in nature I would have liked to listen to the whole book but I just couldn't tolerate the narrator so my review is limited I had 2 hours left in the book and I just couldn't listen anymore sorry

The plot was disconnected and implausible. No development of characters. I am not a fan of virtual voice. At least this book was not the monotone drone that I experienced the first time I got a book with virtual voice but there was absolutely no difference in the voices.. The men sounded the same as women. All women sounded the same so it was difficult to tell who was speaking. The virtual voice narrator also mispronounced words for example, the word “gravelly” meaning a gritty texture was pronounced gravely.The meaning should have been about the emotional tone of the character as in much grief.
