Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Charity Powers isn’t aware of her late husband’s debts, and she certainly isn’t trying to dodge payments when she and her four-year-old daughter board a train. They arrive in the cozy small town of Cedar Falls, Texas, to attend her brother’s wedding.
The moment Schmidt Barnes tracks her down, he realizes something more sinister is afoot. Unfortunately, his lovely target can’t afford a lawyer to defend her, and she’s way too proud to accept money from family or friends.
He can think of only one other way to provide the round-the-clock protection she and her daughter need — by marrying her. All that’s left is convincing the stubborn beauty that exchanging vows with a rugged bounty hunter is truly her best option.
This book was previously part of the Silverpines Series and has since been rewritten and re-edited to be part of the BRIDES OF CEDAR FALLS — uplifting historical romance stories full of faith, hope, love, and cowboys!

On the performance, I honestly think the virtual voice had worse inflections towards the end of the story on this particular book. I think it was because everything in the story simply got more action packed and the “voice” just read it so monotone… it just didn’t fit the exciting scenes… although it never does, but again, just my opinion. Great story otherwise 😊
Beautiful story, more action in this one!
