About this listen
Please note: This content is intended for adults only. It contains explicit language, sexual references, and adult themes. Discretion is advised.
Hot on the heels of Hot White Heist’s critically acclaimed first season, Judy Fink and his team of amateur heist experts are back–and they’re in bigger trouble than ever.
Two years after successfully melting down the top secret sperm bank under the Space Needle, the CLITO collective (Community of Lesbians Inclusive To Others) is thriving on their newly acquired private island, Lesbos 2. All is well in their queer utopia.
Or is it?
Investigative reporter Sarah Keebler (Sarah Steele) is piecing together the crew's previous heist for her bombshell true-crime podcast–and getting dangerously close to the truth. CLITO dispatches their finest agents to stop Keebler's investigation at any cost, but do they have what it takes to finish the job? And why is she so invested in this story, anyway? And what does all this have to do with a notoriously bloodthirsty, litigious right-wing gay billionaire?
Judy and his friends are about to learn the hard way that in the high-stakes world of scandalous crime, what goes around comes around.
Starring Bowen Yang and an all-star queer cast including Shannon Woodward, Jane Lynch, Cynthia Nixon, Ian McKellen, Jesse James Keitel, and Raúl Esparza, Hot White Heist 2 has twice the action, two times the drama, and double the double entendres.

Separated by 10 years, 3,000 miles, and the unrelenting stresses of adulthood, best friends Janet and Serena plan a 40th birthday girls’ trip to reconnect. But after a massive crash, they’re the only survivors to wash ashore on an uncharted Caribbean Island. Armed with only the clothes on their backs and zero survival skills, they fight to overcome hunger, thirst, deadly wildlife—and most terrifyingly—decades of accrued resentment. Story
Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Story
A bad best man’s speech can ruin a wedding. Why do we plan every detail of a perfect day and then give the groom’s idiot best friend five minutes of total power? Enter Nate (Glen Powell), a speechwriter-for-hire who helps people write incredible best man speeches. To keep the best man from embarrassing himself (and the newlyweds), Nate uses his list of don’ts: Don’t mention the exes, don’t be rated R, and don’t bum everyone out. Nate’s system never fails. That is, until he meets Dan (Nicholas Braun).

Story
Alice's journey begins as all good journeys do: hitting on the sales guy at REI. After a tumultuous breakup, a quick career transition, family upheaval, and a sobriety journey that didn't fix her life quite as much as she expected it to, Alice decides that the only way to solve all her problems is to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. But as she begins preparing for the months-long quest, she realizes the answers she's seeking might not be on top of a snow-covered mountain. Especially since she just learned there was snow in California.

Hilarious and poignant
Music, voices, and plot, all were laugh out loud funny but also sweet and poignant about being together. Enjoyed every syllable. Listened all at one time.

The acting was terrific
I feel as though the sequel was forced. It just didn’t hold up to the original.

Highly recommend!
Very entertaining, great voice actors, and diversity was on point. I listened to it all while working outside.

Fun short story, but a bit too agenda pushing
Loved the voices and production value, found it to be too much politics and not enough adventure.

Fun cast, less interesting story.
I loved the first adventure with it's entertaining cast; however this one didn't have the same charm. Felt more formal even with some of the return casts. The message seemed higher stakes when I was looking for the same light-hearted romp that the first one delivered on.

Hilarious and so well performed truly laughed out loud over and over again
this middle-aged straight white usually conservative voting man aka the problem, actually was able to stir up enough decency and intellect to have very much enjoyed this performance of wonderful fiction. the jokes come at Whiplash speed delivered by some of the best in the business! it is interesting to watch the author dance with the idea of struggling with emotions when someone you know you loathe and despise has some very important things in common with you so much that they to a great extent belong in your community. I say the author dances because of course the grand wonderful ending is the destruction of the person who even though qualifying for membership in said community gets annihilated and all of his vast Fortune is given to all of the right people no wait correction all of the correct people see what I did there? it is refreshing to be able to say that this performance was worth every penny that I paid for it!

great listen
I listened to both 1 and 2. They were both really good and held your attention throughout the listen. It's amazing how random friends can come together and do extraordinary things. This was fun
