Publisher's summary
A bad best man’s speech can ruin a wedding. Why do we plan every detail of a perfect day and then give the groom’s idiot best friend five minutes of total power?
Enter Nate (Glen Powell), a speechwriter-for-hire who helps people write incredible best man speeches. To keep the best man from embarrassing himself (and the newlyweds), Nate uses his list of don’ts: Don’t mention the exes, don’t be rated R, and don’t bum everyone out. Nate’s system never fails. That is, until he meets Dan (Nicholas Braun), the dopey, hopelessly awkward best man for the biggest social media influencer’s wedding of the year. On top of that, Nate just got engaged to the woman of his dreams, and now he has to find his own best man–forcing him to confront a brutal friendship breakup with his former best friend.
As Nate helps Dan with his speech, he explores the insane and often idiotic world of male friendship and must come up with an answer to the one question most men never think about: Why is their best friend their best friend?
Featuring an all-star cast including Ashley Park, D’Arcy Carden, Lance Bass, Zach Braff, and more, The Best Man’s Ghostwriter is a laugh-out-loud, heartfelt audio show written and directed by comedian and former real-life best man’s ghostwriter, Matthew Starr.

Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

“The Heron” is the nickname a big-city accountant has attached to himself in his new home near San Diego, where he’s using the alias to avoid a hit man who may be after him. It seems a former client believes that The Heron has skipped town with several million dollars not his own. Don Winslow’s ensuing, entertaining yarn is by turns twisty, dark, and comical as we observe the delicate dance between the pursuer and the pursued.

Consulting each other on every single life decision? Basic good judgment. Pining for the same guys from afar? Shared crushes are more fun anyway. But when Kate and Andy's latest long-distance crush shows up at their school, everything goes off-script. Matt Olsson is talented and sweet, and Kate likes him. She really likes him. Story
For fans of Charles Yu and Matt Haig, this short tale features a grandfather who claims not merely to have been abducted by aliens when he was a young man, but to have fallen in love in the process. His grandson (the story's narrator) is the only person who believes him. My Grandfather’s Ship is a quirky examination of how the passions (real or imagined) of our elders can inspire us.

Story
Life used to be great for Rose: full of friends, a loving mom, and a growing fashion blog. But when her mother dies in a car crash, Rose is sent away to live with a strange grandmother she hardly knows and forced to attend a new school where mean girls ridicule her at every turn. The only place Rose finds refuge is in her grandmother’s greenhouse. But one night, she sees a strange light glowing from within it. She goes to investigate...and finds herself transported back 500 years to Hatfield Palace.

Story
For the last 100,000 years, we Sapiens have accumulated enormous power. But despite all our discoveries, inventions, and conquests, we now find ourselves in an existential crisis. The world is on the verge of ecological collapse. Misinformation abounds. And we are rushing headlong into the age of AI—a new information network that threatens to annihilate us. For all that we have accomplished, why are we so self-destructive? Nexus looks through the long lens of human history to consider how the flow of information has shaped us, and our world.

Story
One day soon, suddenly and without explanation, the moon as we know it is replaced with an orb of cheese with the exact same mass. Through the length of an entire lunar cycle, from new moon to a spectacular and possibly final solar eclipse, we follow multiple characters—schoolkids and scientists, billionaires and workers, preachers and politicians—as they confront the strange new world they live in, and the absurd, impossible moon that now hangs above all their lives.

This was a good time
4 hours of a fun listen with great voices, fun cameos, and a light (even silly at times) plot.

really good
really good. wanted "really good" to be my whole review but audible says it must have 15 words. I should be there now, but here's a few more just in case: battery, snow, glass, whisper, black lab, bruce springsteen

The Glenaissance Continues!
This entire story was so much FUN! I was hooked the entire time. The cast’s voices fit together so well, the chemistry felt through my headphones. I will support every project of GP’s, and am so proud of him and his performance here. Audibly laughed out loud the whole way through and loved hearing other familiar voices as well. This is me begging for MORE!

Glen Powell Bias
Anything he does is great. It was a five star read before I even hit play. I really didn’t like the fiancée, but that was my only complaint.

Please make this into a movie!
I absolutely loved this audiobook. Fantastic story telling. So many times my jaw dropped and I genuinely laughed out loud. Glen did a fantastic job capturing the character of Nate and telling his story.
