Essential Career Guide

Highly recommended.

An essential guide on good work habits and work etiquette. Not just for aircraft mechanics but for anyone starting in a new job in any field or are having trouble staying in one. There should be more books like this one.

Aircraft, mechanic/professional driver

You can literally switch out every time Marc Summers says aircraft mechanic and replace it with professional driver! The similarities are more than uncanny. They are downright mirrors of one another when it comes to making it in the trucking industry!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

18 yr old guys needing a lesson in work ethic

What could Marc Summers have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

How about some nuts and bolts hints and stories about working on airplanes ??

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

good voice delivery

No real advice

His idea of how aircraft maintenance is done and should be done is not anywhere near real life. I'm not sure where he gets his information as there is no way he is an actual mechanic. Considering his other books all involve masterbating and porn, I would assume he is just making random generalizations on this career based on simple googling.

Cut and paste book. The author has no reference.

This book was extremely generic. The statements with “Airplane Mechanic “ could have been interchanged with almost any other hands-on line of work. If you are looking for insider information, look elsewhere.
