Brief, but Better than Expected

It does come off a little as an extended sales pitch for his other products and programs, but it's well done and there is a lot of useful information. Definitely worth the time.

This Book is a Sales Pitch to Jonathan's Seminars

I couldn't wait for the book to end as I kept waiting to hear any substantial ideas or technical matters. The author does not present any notable ideas nor methods. He acts and talks like the TV's Home Shopping Network's salesman.

He keeps repeating ideas and adds words just to fill the space. The book is basically bulls**t.

What's worse is that the last ten minutes of the book are a full advertisement to the author's seminar.

I am disappointed that such a book is sold on Audible.

No guidence is provided on how to aquire a business with no money and advertises to join their business investment group, if you have money.

More of an advertisement to join deal club

My bad, I should have read the reviews. No real actual business buying techniques and it was more of a 2 hr advertisement to join a deal making club. I would not waste any time or credits on this.

Disappointing

Having been involved in a number of M&A deals, my expectations weren’t high, yet I was still disappointed. I thought perhaps there would be something new to learn about creative financing - given the “without risking your own money” pitch. Or perhaps new sources of deal flow for SME’s on the buy and sell side. There was little or none of that. There were no reviews available prior to my purchase, so I guess I took one for the team. At least it was short.

From the perspective of novice dealmakers, on the other hand, be warned! M&A, as presented here, is oversimplified in many instances. Dealmaking is much more complex than presented here! Do not try this at home. It turns out though, that the book is a prelude to a dealmaking network for novice investors. So, there’s that.

That said, I give the author/narrator kudos for his obvious enthusiasm, energy, and passion for, and previous success in dealmaking.

Some useful info, but just a lot of hype to get you to join his club

Many topics/advise are repeated throughout the book. Doesn’t go into depth about each topic. Very shallow, and mostly a lot of hype. At the end he spends about 15 telling you why you should join his group.
