Not For Me!

This audible seems more like a long list than a book being read to me.

Better than I thought! Also good for the maturing former PUA types

I’m currently going down the rabbit hole of PUA (Pick Up Artistry). I’m actually not so much interested in being a player permanently, but I’m interested in going down that road for a few months and then settling down and getting married. I have a goal to have a few kids within a few years.

I’ve gone through some PUA books including by the noteworthy authors Neil Strauss, Real Social Dynamics, David Wygant, Mystery, and Roosh V.

This book is written from a more mature perspective and is written for both female as well as male. It’s a few different books in it, and one of the books towards the end gets vulgar and talks to guys- I liked that about this book, and to me it gave the author credibility.

I liked this book! I see that I’m the first to review it. I have no affiliation with this book or with the author and I’m writing this out if my own free will. I’m skeptical of some five star reviews myself, and I just want to give the author credit where it’s deserved, and say this book is worth going through.

My only criticism is it’s a little basic, and very slightly outdated (written in 2014 and refers to Facebook and Tinder). Still very worthwhile though.

Lots of nuggets!

Terrific audio book. The different perspectives and insights gave this book richness and helped me connect and understand dating. Thanks

Some repetition and lots of swearing

If you don’t mind listening to the same recommendations over and over again, this might be a good listen. Also the swearing and references to sex could be made more appropriate and less offensive. If these bother you, best to skip this book. Not sure you learn anything you really don’t already know.

Very broad and general, some good staff

The content is very general. It’s a compilation of different lists. There is no despeja in the arguments, and the lists are hard to comprehend. I liked a list of questions one can discuss on the date.

Didn’t learn anything new

I started listening to this and decided I couldn’t finish it. The content was more common sense or just based on the authors personal experience. And it was a little hard to tell on their preference versus the narrator. Took a long time to get to the point.

No.

Lots of foul language, I doubt it can guide people to “date better.” Maybe I am too old school but the book just didn’t sit well.
