About this listen

How to learn a new language in as little as a few months - and have a boatload of fun doing it.

Let me make a prediction.

I predict that hundreds of people who read this description will close this page in a few seconds.

"Learn a new language in a few months? Are you out of your mind?" they'll say. "It's just too good to be true."

And they'll go back to their old language learning methods.

You know which methods: toiling away at mind-numbing grammar exercises, learning words nobody uses, and, most importantly, never actually using your skills to communicate with another person.

If you're still with me, I expect you to be different. You think there must be something better. After all, how could people master more than one foreign language in their lives if it usually takes a regular person several years just to learn the basics?

The answer is simple - they follow the methods I share in this audiobook. They learn up to 10 times faster than other people, and they also have a lot of fun while doing it.

Here are some of the things you'll learn:

  • An extremely easy way to find a native speaker willing to help you learn his or her mother language
  • A completely free way to get native speakers to proofread your writing
  • Nine common mistakes to avoid when learning languages
  • A five-step process to improve your reading skills.

Why kill yourself doing things the old, noneffective way if you could make the process much easier and enjoy it more, too?

Better Books Available

I had no problem listening to the audiobook as narrator Chris Martinez is enjoyable and it is short.

This is not something I would pay for though as it has information that isn't always accurate or provides no methodology. If I saw this book in a store, I'd flip through it for a minute and have all the information I need. Fluent Forever is a much better book that has great tips and actual methods to learn and retain your language. This book is exactly like the title says though, it's a list of tips. An enhanced Buzzfeed article is what I felt (i.e. Reading tips - comics, children's books, news articles, books, blogs.... Each one is a tip with a short explanation. I think I could've guessed those tips on my own as far as sources go.)

Nothing new that I've never heard.

I recommended Fluent in 3 Months instead. In an English teacher in Asia and I feel after listening to this, I could just write my own book telling students of tips I've come up with.
