In today's world, the media glamorizes start-ups that are able to raise tons of money in seed funding from investors. While this has helped inspire more people to launch businesses, I believe it has also fueled the notion that tons of funding is needed in order to actually start. Well, folks, I'm here to tell you that this is simply not true. This flawed belief is the exact reason why Branden Hampton and I wrote this book. We've structured this book to walk you through building and growing your business from start to finish. At the end we provide a list of resources to help you with execution. Our hope is that this book will save you time and money so you can focus on what's truly important in getting your company to the next level. So, without further ado, let's get started!

I have started multiple profitable companies in my life and will be using this book with my teams in the future during those planning phases.

What disappointed you about How to Set-Up Your Business for Under $1000?
The initial list of to-dos had me excited, but then the book drops into a really protracted explanation of business plan writing and SWAT selling. These are not new concepts. Where was the meat? The narration was as slow as any I've heard. After 6 minutes of selling me on SWAT, I had the book figured. Oh, and that was with 10 minutes left.Would you ever listen to anything by Dan Fleyshman and Branden Hampton again?
Probably, but given the author's reputation and success I can't believe they attached their names to this book.Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Larry Wayne?
He's clear, but so slow I found myself falling asleep in between breathes. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Bored. Nothing new here. You can look up business plans online, SWAT online, and get a start-up check list online. The authors didn't explain any cost saving services, what you should and should not pay for initially, or anything else related to the title. They dive into writing a business plan (for your own good), but unless you need venture capital isn't that even being questioned today? Analysis is good, but this is nothing short of regurgitating what is readily available online.Any additional comments?
