I have a hard time explaining what listening to this did to me. It’s intense and angsty and gut-wrenching and had me on the edge of my seat. This was just a tad darker than the previous ones and I couldn’t pick up my jaw off the floor. Along with it it’s just as steamy and the chemistry is fire! We get more of our previous heroes, more from Jake and it was fun seeing the gang together. The narrators did an amazing job and just bring the energy and the characters to life.

Hunter is the fifth book in the Rosewood High series, and I loved going back to see past characters! As with all of the other Rosewood High series, I loved this book so much! This book is Zayn Hunter and Poppy. Poppy is Zayn's younger sister's best friend.

Poppy hasn't had the easiest life growing up. Her parents are druggies, and she steps up to care for her younger siblings. She doesn't want anyone to know the situation she is in because she doesn't want them separated, so she doesn't invite anyone over.

Hunter has always seen Poppy and has had feelings for her, although he doesn't want other people to know so he's mean to her to get attention from her. He shows up at Poppy's house and finds out that there is more going on behind the scenes.

Poppy has had feelings for Zayn for a long time but has been burned by him in the past. Can she learn to trust him with her secrets, or will he use her to his own advantage? There is someone going after Poppy as well, and he will do anything to help her and protect her.

I really enjoyed this book, and can't wait for more in the series!

This is my second time listening to this book and it's even better the 2nd time. It's also very hot and the narrators are awesome. In this story, Zane doesn't really have any issues but Poppy struggles with a lot. She is taking on the responsibility of raising her 3 small siblings because her parents are worthless. They've checked out. She also has a bully that is getting to be at a danger level. Zane finds out a small part of it and it leads him to trying to protect Pops. It's a very very good book and I hope that Fury and Legend will be on audio QUICKLY! Thanks to Tracy Lorraine for another outstanding book in this series.

I think Poppy and Zane just might of topped my list of the best Rosewood Couple. I loved everything about this book. Zane is the bad boy who is only good for her and it is just swoon! I love how he is a protector and is not afraid to get down and dirty! And speaking of dirty 😉 the mouth on that man! 💦 && Poppy sweet innocent Poppy. I love how strong and caring she is for her and her family. This couple were meant for eachother and I couldn't be more happy with how this story turned out!

I love this series. Literally it’s so good. Tray Lorraine you know how to make an amazing story but also spicy, I love it! Zayn and poppy were so close to being my fav rosewood high couple but Chelsea and Shane already have that spot 😫can’t wait to hear ash and rubys story!

Poppy and Zayn, best of the series so far.
Each of these bad boys have fallen and fallen hard. They are the sweetest Bullies ever. Always a HEA, Can be read as stand alone but, helps to meet the other couples in the previous books.
Rachel Woods and Luke Parker did an Outstanding job narrating.
I love the books that are read in this narrative.
Book 5, already!?! Each has gotten more interesting.
hopefully, a lot more to come.
I'm a big fan of Tracy Lorraine and her writing.
Well worth the credit and your time to listen.

Warning: Sexual Assault Triggers

This has been the hardest book of Tracy Lorraine's to get through. I'm a huge fan of hers. I've read/listened to everything she has written and will continue to do so. She writes such great storylines and characters. Ones you just get so invested in. The worlds she creates are heartwarming...at least once the HEA arrives. And I've been waiting on this book since I read/listened to THORN.

I've waffled over four stars or five stars mostly because the three assault scenes that stick out, I almost couldn't read on. I had to stop and breathe through. I had to remind myself it's just a book...just a story. But these things do happen. What helps here is knowing that there WILL BE a happy ever after. It's beautiful. This book takes you through all the feels from bad to good. Poppy was the one character I wanted to get a story from the first book. Her book is hard with so much heartache. But Zayn Hunter pulls out all the stops to make amends for his actions and to protect her. In the end I must admit that I loved the twists to the story, the emotional upheaval, and that this was Poppy's book. So it gets all five stars!

Rachel Woods and Luke Parker are excellent narrators. They did a really good job with this duet narration.

Another great story from the series. Here is Poppy (Jake's Cousin) and Zayn story. It's an enemies to lovers story. Poppy has had a crush on Zayn her best friend's brother but it shifts a little after a comment he made after a game of seven minutes in heaven. Years later Zayn is giving her attention she tries hard to fight off because every time she starts to give in she ends up hurt. But Zayn isn't the only one giving Poppy attention except this one is unwanted and seems to escalate. This poor girl not only has to deal with school issues but she also has family problems too and she refuses to ask for help and silently deals with it by herself. But Zayn sees her and knows something going on and keeps trying to prove to Poppy he is there for her. I believe this is darker than the other ones at times I was frustrated with Poppy for letting things escalate and not seeking help. This was a gritty page turner with some twists. I can't wait to see what comes next in Ruby's story.

Love listening to these two bring the story to life.
