I very much enjoyed this book. It's really sad and heart-wrenching but also very well written and makes a person realize what hell some children actually do go through. Has many trigger warnings so beware! I am looking forward to the next book! The narrator was very good and I enjoyed her reading of this book thoroughly and I will be looking for more narrated by her.

Great Book Although Sad

I listened back through many chapters trying to figure out who Ben, Emily, Doris and Melissa were. I reresearched for an answer for a long time. I finally figured out there was a chapter from a book called "Colorado Bride" inserted into this book. It was the same narrarator, Lia Frederick but different authors. It really threw me off and made me very annoyed.

chapter 8 in this audible series has a chapter from a completely different book--

A dark story, but written well. Kept me engaged throughout. I was surprised by the ending, but not really. In a psycho thriller one always expects the unexpected. Great narration. Ms. Frederick brings the characters to life.

Didn’t see that coming

Elle: A Psychological Thriller was a great read by Ditter Kellen. Elenore has lived on a small farm with her father who makes her days a living hell. Eleanore has een abused by her father and sold to the highest bidders. The people that are responsible for her abuse start going missing. This is a story about how a girl who has been abused and suffered some heinous acts, can learn to survive. This is a book that contains some abuse and abuse triggers. I love reading all of Ditter Kellen's books and can't wait to read more by the author.

Great Read

Please be aware that if you are easily triggered, this book is not for you; otherwise, I think the book is quite interesting. Ellen, the main character, has gone through so much and is really just discombobulated, so there isn't really much character building in regards to her because she's really abused. It's like any real psychological thriller, just more detail in terms of SA and/or R@pe.

it's a good read.

Chapter 8 is from another book. It messed up the story and left me confused for a few chapters.

chapter 8 sucks

A great story with a big twist at the end, but ended too soon. Narration was well done as well. I was disappointed that it was so short.

Please, please check your trigger warnings before diving into this book. I Am Elle is raw, gut-wrenching, and completely unforgettable. Elenore Griffin’s story is one of survival, resilience, and the pure will to fight against all odds. Born into a nightmare she never asked for, Elle is failed by the very people who should have protected her. The horrors she endures are beyond comprehension, but the strength she finds within herself? Absolutely stunning.

Ditter Kellen’s writing is so compelling that by the end of the first chapter, I wanted to grab a pitchfork and lead a rescue mission myself. I felt so protective over Elle, I needed to see her survive, to see her fight, and I was desperate for justice. The pacing is relentless, the emotions are raw, and that ending? I was left speechless. I started book two immediately.

If you love books that completely consume you and make you feel every ounce of the character’s pain and strength, this is for you. Five stars, no question!
