A well done book, Loads of important information!

I am a father an experience much of what the book discusses. But I was surprised by the detail of the instruction. This book informed me of many things that I was not aware even after having children. I like the chapter titles like my favorite: Mango.. Relax. Epsom salts was a true life saver!

So Grateful To Have Listened To This

Being 22 in a serious relationship can often make you wonder…will I have kids with this person. Yeah I gaff it off all the time but… what if? So I said, heck with it i’m going to listen to an audiobook that gives me the heads up. All I can say is I would be a lesser father in the future for not listening to this audiobook now at my young age.

That’s great info!

I found this format insightful and relatable. The chapters are nicely named which helped me visualize the story along with stage of the baby. Huge help. My only negative is the author reads slow, but lucky for us I found 1.4x made him better! I highly recommend the book.

Yes!

The beauty of this audiobook is its simplicity and humility. I loved how it felt very easy to relate to, and it is written by someone who has been in the position of being a first time dad before. This audiobook present the truth, challenges and unknowns of being a first time dad in a way that is honest and sometimes pretty comedic too. Overall I enjoy the value of the tips giving within this audiobook, especially about caring for your own well being. I’m very proud of this.

For Dad's To Be

OK, I know mom's job is to do all the hard work. There are a ton of books out there for moms. However, this is a book for dads, and before you say "well, they don't do a lot", they actually do. No woman wants to be alone on her big day, whoever her partner is, they need to have some sort of plan to cover the next 9 months.

Enter, this book. I was blown away by all the cool information in this very well-produced audiobook. This book will give dad the confidence to do a good job of both looking after mom and also himself during the pregnancy term and afterwards. This is a great book, I really enjoyed it, my partner loved it too. 5 Stars.

An invaluable guide for every new dad

This is a holistic guide for first-time dads. It contains detailed information which can help a man to understand what his partner is going through during this special time in her life.

I like the way the author lays out the vocabulary for each month, making it more digestible for the nervous first-time dad. The author’s attention to detail is particularly noteworthy, for example, what to pack for the hospital - including a sleep mask, toiletries, phone, and charger to send pictures of the newly born to friends or family. Every minute detail is covered in this succinct text.

Well-Written and Narrated!

This is a must-listen for all expecting dads! The author does a great job of breaking down the pregnancy journey and explaining what happens each month and what his partner is going through. He offers tips on how to be a supportive partner, which is so important. I loved the personal anecdotes from Nigel about his experience when his wife was pregnant with his first child. The narrator is a perfect fit as well and was pleasant to listen to!
