About this listen

Aaron is a lonely, unloved boy when he first meets James. Their friendship seems like a dream come true - or perhaps just a dream, because no one else can see or hear James. Aaron stubbornly clings to his new friend, however, even when the friendship makes him an object of scorn and ridicule. No matter the years that pass, or the challenges they face, Aaron refuses to give up on his best friend - but life might just find a way to take James from him anyway.

This is a very sweet love story about a lonely boy and a very lost boy. It takes place over 10 years and has a hea ending. The narrator has a very soothing voice and does justice to the story. I found nothing wrong and enjoyed this as a short sweet romance. Give it a chance if you want a break from all the graphic depictions of sexual encounters which after awhile l find myself spacing out when they take away from the story instead of adding to it.

Very sweet

An interesting spin on a fairytale feel good love story, a lonely neglected youth who gets adopted by foster payment parents who befriends an apparition he found in the fields that no one else can see… like all story it had the potential to better but the narrator and the writer didn’t step up enough… overall a good story.
