Publisher's summary

This story is for everyone - but not everyone is for this story.

This is a dangerous tale of times past... a love story full of deep seduction. A story of terrible longing and bold sacrifice.

Then as now, evil begins its courtship cloaked in light. And the heart embraces what it should flee, forgetting it once had a truer lover.

With a kiss, evil will ravage body, soul, and mind. Yet there remains hope, because the heart knows no bounds. Love will prove greater than lust. Sacrifice will overcome seduction. And blood will flow. Because the battle for the heart is always violently opposed.

For those desperate to drink deep from this fountain of life, enter. But remember, not everyone is for this story.

Intricate Spiritual Love Story

Unique possibilities of fallen angels seeking dominance of mankind. Truth is always stranger than fiction and this takes that extra step into what could be real.

Thrilling! Hard to put down!

I love Ted Dekker's books and Immanuel's Veins did not disappoint! What an intriguing story, love, seduction, lust. The story was great, kept ne on the edge of my seat, and the narrator was perfect for the listen!

Always a Dekker fan

I have to admit that for the first 1/2 I was thinking either my audio was titled incorrectly or something was really wrong with Ted. As I went on, I found the Ted I know and love. I do appreciate the story and will say I enjoyed it. Although it is not a favorite, I would still recommend it to anyone who likes vampire stories.

Not one of Ted Dekker's best

I have listened to several of Mr. Dekker's books and this one, while good, is definately not his best. It took over half the book to get to the best part of the story. Seems to be a prequil to the Red, White and Black Trilogy but I am only guessing on that. The best part of the book is the last two hours after all the character development is done. If you like Ted, you will like this book.
