I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Human's are aware of witches among them. They are learning to co-exist. The time line is around the 1920's during prohibition. Anna a PI is suffering from the loss of her soulmate, or she thinks her soulmate based on a visit to a fortuneteller when she was younger with her two best friends Jack and Sai. As she is hired by a gentleman names Jesse Hunt to locate a missing Witch leader, Anna soon discovers there are is a serial killer and that person may have Leo, her newest job.

I found the beginning of the story a little tough to follow, but soon I was captivated with the story line of her loss love, her determination not to forget him, and a path that would make her soon see nothing was as it seemed.
