VADIR is the second novella in Susan Hayes' Star-Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides series. The stories are Erotic Sci-Fi Romances and are enjoyable.

I liked VADIR better than the first novella in the series, JORAN. I'm not quite sure why. The male leads in both stories were quite similar but Vadir's dominant behavior didn't bug me as much. And it's not like Lisa put up with it anyways LOL! I wonder if all of Hayes' Pyrosian males act that way?

Since I'm an artsy person I appreciated that Lisa was an artist. Her special and wonderful talent was written into the plot in a way that I wasn't expecting.

I'm looking forward to the next story in the series. I have a hunch as to how the couple gets together and can't wait to find out if I'm right.

Tieran Wilder did a really nice job with the narration. I took pleasure in her performance. She has a pleasing voice that makes it easy to fall into the story.

CONTINUITY COMPLAINT: In book one of the series it said that there was one female born for every six males on Pyros. In this story it says seven.

Vadir is filthy rich. He likes and understands business. His king has ordered him to Earth to find his mate. He hasn’t the first idea how to win his mate. Lisa is an artist and former wild child she isn’t about to let Vadir put her in a gilded cage no matter how hot he is or how he makes her burn. This is a fun and sexy romp where despite their differences these two learn to become one.

Love these characters on both stories so far, and I have no don't I will love the next one with Gwen and Kash. I hope you give more warriors a chance to hear their stories. Wonderful creations. Don't pass up on it.

Vadir is the second Star-Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides book and tells about the match between Vadir and Lisa! Lisa is an artist who feels her biological clock ticking and signs up for an online dating site with her two best friends. Vadir is all about control, mastering boardrooms, and has traveled all the way to Earth, unfortunately, to meet his supposed mate. There’s much more than meets the eye with these two, and they’ll have to work hard to find even ground and fight for their happy ending!

Oh my, I loved listening to this book! The story was fun and entertaining, definitely kept my attention, and I loved finding out more about both Lisa and Vadir. I loved their underlying similarities that shined through their differences. Also, Lisa, hilarious! Ms. Wilder did a fantastic job narrating the story, really bringing the characters alive with the different voices, and I liked the emotions she expressed through her tones, too! Really fabulous series so far and I can’t wait to listen to the next one to find out about Gwen!
