Another great Kerrigan Byrne book!!

History, magic, humor, and erotica. I really need to stop listening to these books on the way to work.
Derek Perkins brings the story to life. I love his narration.

AN INSPIRING HIGHLAND ROMANCE

I don’t understand how someone cannot LOVE this book. For me as a PNR lover, it has it all. Evil supernatural being out to destroy the world. Check. Strong Heroes determine to save the world as well as a part of themselves they thought was lost. Check. Heroines, that manage to be strong but at the same time vulnerable. Check. A sweet, simple love story that makes the heart go, AWWWW! Check. Some steamy romance scenes that melt my headphones and left me breathless. CHECK CHECK & CHECK. And the Narrator, mmm Derek Perkins can read to me anytime.

IMO, buy the book. For that matter, buy the trilogy. It's worth every minute of your purchase. If nothing else, you have Derek Perkins voice. WOW!!

Great Story About Druid King Malcom de Moray

It was a good book about the Druid King of the Picts and his battle with the 4 horsemen to stop the Apocalypse with lots of witches, Berserkers, and fighting. Quite a lot of hot sex and the narrator's accent was terrific. I could listen him talk forever. I enjoyed this story very much but I'm not sure I liked it enough to commit to the lengthy series that follows. I get the feeling there is much more of the Weird Sisters (the dark de Moray witches) trying to take over the world and fight with the Druid King of the Picts. Malcolm, Kenna, and Morgana are a magical family so I'm keeping an open mind. If you like the Druid period and lots of angst, you'll like this book. I recommend it for that reason alone and for the narrator.

This series really stood out for me. Great Story

Where does Invoked rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The whole Druid descriptions of gifts and finding their perfect mates was interesting and very entertaining. The way the Berserkers show up in this series was a nice combination.

What does Derek Perkins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It took me a little time to become accustomed to the character voice changes, but once established, they were enjoyable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me want to buy the next 2 series.

Any additional comments?

Well written. When I bounced back from audible to the kindle version the flow was nice.

So so

I enjoyed Byre's other books so took this one on faith. It was not what I expected. So overblown that the "hot damn" sex scenes were actually boring. I couldn't finish it.
