About this listen

A new thriller from number-one New York Times best-selling author and "Queen of Suspense" Mary Higgins Clark.

After a party when her parents are away, 18-year-old Kerry Dowling is found fully dressed at the bottom of the family pool.

The immediate suspect is her boyfriend, who had a bitter argument with her at the party. Then there is a 20-year-old neighbor who was angry because she didn't invite him to the party.

Or is there someone else who has not yet been seen on the radar?

Kerry's older sister, Aline, a 28-year-old guidance counselor, is determined to assist the prosecutor's office in learning the truth. She does not realize that now she is putting her own life in danger....

With I’ve Got My Eyes On You, Ms Clark has outdone herself. Which of course is saying a lot with one of her talent. She showed us humanity and suspense and I’m just thrilled!

MHC does it again!

Mary Higgins Clarks’ books that I have read are smooth and entertaining. Her style hold the readers interest easily. This book reminded me of of an actual similar local drowning at a party three years ago that the parent assumed foul play. The one thing that was great about this book was the characters and mystery about the murder which was not uncover until the end of the book.

Smooth Read

Love her books, but not this one. No mystery to speak of. Very basic story with no suspense

predictable

I always love Mary Higgins Clark. The story flowed well and keep me entertained. The only negative I have to say about this book was that the villain was predictable.

Entertaining book, but a bit predictable

I’VE GOT MY EYES ON YOU is one of my favorite Mary Higgins Clark novels. Aside from non stop action, this novel has a lot of heart, a number of very plausible suspects and multidimensional characters. My only disappointment was that the audiobook, at just over six hours, was too short. I wanted more.

One of her best

I used to read MHC and always enjoyed her writing but lately I’ve all about audible books so hadn’t read much. I came across this book because I was researching one of my favorite narrators, January LaVOY and thought that I was in the mood for a purely entertaining listen, I thoroughly enjoyed this, it was a double win with the story and January’s wonderful narration. A bonus was a quote Clark used in the story that will somehow find it’s way into my personal lexicon.
“The heart has its reasons that reason does not know” is a quote by Blaise Pascal, a 17th-century French author. The original French phrase is “Le cœur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point”.

I forgot how much I like Mary Higgins Clark
