About this listen

A killer is at work in the nation's capital, and he seems to like variety. His victims range from kindergarten students to senators - not even the President is safe. Alex Cross, hero of Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls, is awakened one night to confront the brutal murder of a little girl only blocks away from his house. With a single clue, a mysterious rhyme signed "Jack and Jill", the skilled and courageous Cross sets out to track the murderer. Can he work fast enough to spare the killer's next victim?

Let me down a little bit

Jack and Jill was a brilliant concept, but the fact that the book followed two story lines was a little distracting. James Patterson always writes a compelling story, however i found this one to be less exciting than the the two that came before it.

Shame on James Patterson

Would you consider the audio edition of Jack and Jill to be better than the print version?

No

What was one of the most memorable moments of Jack and Jill?

I hated that I didn't get the full story

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have definitely listened to it in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest anyone wanting to read a James Patterson book to buy it or check it out of the library, he is notorious for never having unabridged audio books available. I will never waste my money on another of his audio books.

Very good

Probably not the very best James Paterson book, but still very entertaining. An enjoyable read.

Entertaining Listen

I usually am not a fan of unabridged versions of books, but this one is an exception. I felt like I was listening to a radio show production of the book. it entertained me on my commute. Good story, a suspensful who dunnit.

Love Alex Cross!

For me this wasn't as good as other Alex Cross however I realize it goes back. Still a good "on the edge of you seat" suspense moments.

Yes!!

This is exactly everyone's voice in my head I loved it. I've listened to samples of other audio books in the Alex cross series and they don't even touch this one.

Good story

I am loving the Alex Cross series.
I wish this book had been available in unabridged. Good story though but too short, being the abridged version.
I do not like background music in audio books! It makes it hard to hear the words sometimes and I am typically driving while listening.
