If You Want a Unique Japan Experience...Start Here!

For Westerners, Japan is a fascinating and mysterious country: a unique blend of cutting-edge technology and centuries-old spirituality, unforgettable natural landscapes and hi-tech cities, Zen-inspired minimalism and crazy pop culture.

This is why planning a trip to Japan can be so daunting and challenging: There's just so much to see and experience that you don't know where to start!

Also, you probably don't want to go where ALL the tourists go - those landmarks are so overcrowded that it's better to focus on the lesser known hidden gems of Japan.

But how do you even know that these hidden gems exist?

This unique tourist guide to Japan will show you hundreds of places to see and things to do.

Here's what you'll learn:

  • What you should REALLY expect when visiting Japan
  • Insider tips for an unforgettable experience in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and other major cities
  • How to get a taste of both traditional and modern Japanese culture
  • The best activities for foodies, nature lovers, and sports addicts
  • Which of the behaviors that you do every day are considered offensive in Japan

Unlike most travel guides that all focus on the same few places, this one offers an incredible variety of experiences to choose from. No matter if you're longing to experience Japanese cuisine, hike in the mountains, see ancient temples, or enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Tokyo, there's something for you!

As a bonus, you'll also learn about common behavior rules in Japan - a topic that's not covered in most tourist guide. By applying these valuable tips, you'll be able to manage every social situation without being awkward and make new friends with ease!

It's time to take the first step towards planning an amazing travel experience.

Poorly Translated

I read parts of the book before leaving for Japan, and just returned. I found the book to be either poorly translated, or poorly written in English. It takes a while to understand words in their context as they are repeated over and over. For example, the author uses the term “road nourishment” for the common idiom street food, “plunge” instead of dive (strange because the author says he is himself a free diver), “moment” ramen instead of instant ramen. Worse are the translations of simple terms into convoluted and complicated, ungrammatical sentences. One wonders if this book was professionally edited by an English speaker. The information is also very cursory and limited. This book was a disappointment.

not well done

Translated poorly; strange choices of words throughout. Some info is out of date. I would recommend just using tripadvisor or Japan travel websites.
