The McCormacks have a starship, and now, they need a safe place to start harvesting the technology. They’re starting with a place in the Cook Islands, but to succeed, they have to avoid spies, figure out how to manufacture the new technology using Earth-based tools, and then introduce it without getting into too much trouble with the governments and big corporations of Earth.

As they continue their quest to unite Earth and bring her into the modern age of space travel and repair her environment before it’s too late, they have to fight with the major powers that aren’t too sure they want to change the status quo. Now they have discovered an incoming asteroid the size of Ceres. What will it take to unite Earth to deal with this threat to its very existence? And what other threats may be lurking there?

There are pirates in dem dar stars! After Jason's arrest for interfering with the development of the Wakipee, Catie and Marc are left with two mysteries to unravel. Leaving her father to find the source of Jason's arrest, Catie begins to trace the path of the aliens responsible for abducting people from Earth to create Helike and Waspara.

The McCormacks are finally going to start an Earth Colony and the Paraxeans are finally getting a home. Catie is going to the Academy and Marc is going to Artemis. What will it take for both of them to survive their new challenges? Will Catie’s cover hold? Will Marc be able to get the colony moving to self-sufficiency? Will the aliens who are heading to Artemis give him the time he needs. What will happen on Earth as people start leaving.

The Delphineans have to deal with the fact that the Fazullan ship has slaves on it. They repatriate the Paraxean slaves with Mangkator and need to find a planet for the other slaves. But what do they do with the Fazullans? Then Catie takes is assigned the mission to take the Onisiwoens, the third set of aliens, home. What will she find there?

Catie is on her way back to Earth after having settled the Fazulan slaves when the wormhole her ship is traveling in collapses. They are diverted to another system, where big chunks are flying around. They rescue a ship and find themselves in the middle of a series of mysteries. Catie resigns herself to continuing her role as Princess Catie and helping these people solve their problems so that this new system can join the Delphi League. And Catie gets exactly what she asked for.

After the Delphi League defeats the Fazullan invasion of Onisiwo, Catie is tasked with managing the Onisiwoen transition to the Delphi League, as well as the repatriation of all the slaves from the Fazullan fleet. She has to navigate the complex diplomatic circles, as different interests complete for advantage in the new age of interstellar trade.

After ADI informs the board that with the stress of the new planets in the League, they will run out of platinum metals, Catie is asked to build a starbase so they can have a reliable source in another star system. Of course, nothing is ever simple, and Catie has to struggle with those whose personal greed puts everyone at risk.

After winning the war against the Paraxean rebels, now the McCormacks have to win the peace. Everyone on Earth now knows that they have alien technology that they've been hiding. What changes when they come out into the open? How do they handle their new leadership role on Earth? When lives are threatened they step up, but when they can’t control the situation they have to take a bigger step. Read how the machinations on Earth get in the way of exploring the stars.
