Story
When Edmund Hillary first conquered Mt. Everest, Sherpa Tenzing Norgay was at his side. Indeed, for as long as Westerners have been climbing the Himalaya, Sherpas have been the unsung heroes in the background. In August 2008, when eleven climbers lost their lives on K2, the world’s most dangerous peak, two Sherpas survived. They had emerged from poverty and political turmoil to become two of the most skillful mountaineers on earth. Based on unprecedented access and interviews, Buried in the Sky reveals their astonishing story for the first time.

Amazing Audiobook for the Travel Junkie!!
I consider myself a travel junkie. My wife and I love traveling the globe. We enjoy exploring Europe and the Carribean Islands. Recently, we discussed the fact that we need to start traveling America more and all the beauty that exists right here at home. We are really glad we came across this gem as it is loaded with amazing places to visit. I have been to a few of the recommendations in here such as the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, Route 66 in Arizona, and the Green Mountain of Vermont. They are all inspiring journeys that I personally recommend. After listening to this book, we have decided that we definitely want to check out the Pacific Coast Highway and Shenandoah National Park. Purchase this audiobook, and then decide what adventure awaits you!

I love a good road trip. This book answers the question: Where do I go, and what can I do when I get there? Epic 15 Bucket List Travel Guide contains a variety of exciting trips with sites to see and activities to do in various locations, such as the "Blue Whale" along Route 66 or Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course. The guide also provides information on how many days to schedule a trip, what time of year is best, road conditions, restaurants, lodging, and overall costs. There is a whole chapter on exploring the Appalachia Mountains, a place I have yet to explore! Listening to this book inspires my curiosity and enthusiasm to explore America. I will listen again and take notes for my next trip. This is a must-have book to listen to or read when preparing to hit the road.

Travel expands the mind
The opening section of the audiobook mentioned that the point of travel was to return home enriched by your travel experiences. It was great to learn about interesting road trips in the USA. It is such a huge place to explore and it was useful to get a PDF with links to detailed routes, hotel ideas, and resources for each trip. It is certainly something to add to the travel bucket list.

Love this!
This book is a treasure trove of information about some of the most memorable road trips in America. From the stunning Pacific Coast Highway to the historic pre-US highway numbering system route, this guide covers it all. I especially enjoyed learning about the road that inspired the movie Cars and the chance to indulge in local flavors in the Great Smoky Mountains. The guide also highlights unique experiences, like driving 100 miles over the sea to visit the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum. The stunning views of Shenandoah National Park and the thrill of adventure on the loneliest road in the US make this guide an essential companion for any road trip enthusiast. The guide also features charming small towns like Leavenworth, Winthrop, and Concrete, making it a comprehensive and enjoyable book. Highly recommended!

Awesome Travel Tips
This audiobook is a delightful way to learn about fascinating locations to visit worldwide. I thought it was constructive that the author went into such depth to assist with the preparation of the trip and to offer tourists some advice on essential items to bring with them on their travels. This book provides a goldmine of information about some of the most exciting and memorable road journeys that can be taken in the United States.
In addition, I found it particularly interesting to learn about the road that served as the basis for the movie Cars and the opportunity to indulge in the regional cuisine of the Great Smoky Mountains. In addition, the guide is a necessary companion for everyone who enjoys going on road trips, such as the breathtaking scenery of Shenandoah National Park and the excitement of the adventure on the loneliest road in the US. This guidebook is informative and entertaining. You really must read this!
