Publisher's summary

Although written in 1893, Murray's words remain as fresh and relevant as if they were written yesterday. They still hold a message for the troubled souls of today. Murray's preaching is simple yet profound. Understanding Jesus Himself can bring us closer to understanding God, Our Father.

just to be close to you.

Jesus is not near. He is inside. I have known of this for years but have not lived it out. This book encourages me and refocuses me to Chase Jesus with all my heart not to be near but to be inside. every waking moment.

We Need To Believe In The Risen Jesus!

Do you love God, do you love Jesus but you find your life with him inconsistent? Do you find that you have times of blessing with Him but they don't last?. Do you find that the Christian life Is not so meaningful as you had hoped it would be? Reverend Murray explains what is going on here. We need to believe in Jesus, the one who says he will be with us always. and he explains how this works. We need to believe in the risen Jesus!

I know my first paragraph was like an advertisement, but that's really what the book is about. We need to believe in the risen Jesus. It is a short book but it's so essential for the Christian. Reverend Murray has a way of speaking with such purity, getting right to the heart of things. He's very easy to follow, easy to understand, but he speaks truth.

Book is very short, I think it was less than 2 hours reading. Narrator is fine, easy to understand, has pleasant speaking voice.

Something real, a true, inner walk with God

The content is wonderful. Focus upon the content, the reading comes across as a performance perhaps, but the content is very authentic. Andrew Murray is a wonderful saint who offers great help to those who truly want Jesus. A helpful note: “intercourse” is here used to mean “real relationship and interaction, an exchange”.
