Publisher's summary

Joe Ledger is back! Joe Ledger: Secret Missions collects some of Ledger's most dynamic and bizarre short-story adventures - classic reprints as well as exciting new material! From the icy wastes of the Antarctic to the Gate of Hell in Turkmenistan, Ledger and his team are the last best hope that stands between the unsuspecting public and unimaginable dangers!

Stories include crossovers with Maberry's many fictional and best-selling worlds, including V-WARS (Netflix), the Pine Deep Trilogy, the Sam Hunter Case Files, Dead of Night, and Rot & Ruin. If you've never listened to a Joe Ledger tale, this is a great jumping-on point; and if you're a longtime fan, you'll encounter old friends and enemies - Mr. Church, Echo Team, Havoc Team, Malcolm Crow and Mike Sweeney, Violin, Toys, and more!

And there are special treats! An insightful introduction by best seller Peter Clines (The Fold, 14), a collaboration with author Marie Whittaker, and a brief glimpse into Mr. Church as he takes a rare day off, penned by "the voice of Joe Ledger", audiobook reader Ray Porter. So buckle up, lock and load, and go rolling into action with Joe Ledger! Hooah!

Don't think, just buy it.

If you're a Joe Ledger fan you don't need this review, because you already bought it; for everyone else, you need to be a Joe Ledger fan. I'm not even finished with the book yet, but wanted to get this out. This is 100% true. I have a white german shepherd named Ghost because of this series. That being said, THANK YOU for including the Ghost origin story. He's my partner, and I love the book version as much as I love my own pup.

Too short and choppy

Love Joe, Top, Bunny, Bug, Church and Ghost. I like a deep story not a compilation of shorts. I bought because I though it was going to be different. It was good and funny enough.

Maberry never disappoints

Great collection, includes Dog Days, which I have heard before, but I could listen to any Joe Ledger over and over. love Ray Porter's narration.

Another Grand Slam

Jonathan Maberry and Ray Porter knock it out of the park again.

A combination of retold and expanded stories interspersed with new Joe Ledger and friends made this a delightful listen.

Another fun collection of Joe Ledger stories

Maberry writes compelling high-stakes novels, and it is a treat to see that his short stories are equally enjoyable, even when the story deals with something less world-shattering.

Phenomenal as always!

Jonathan Maberry NEVER disappoints. Also, neither does Ray Porter. Each story is like a visit with old friends, and the special bonus of a story from Ray Porter about a character that is very dear to me was a real treat indeed.
