Publisher's summary

Presenting another quartet of fast-paced druid urban fantasy novels in a bundle featuring magic, intrigue, Celtic mythology, and nonstop paranormal action!

Druid Apprentice (Book 9)

Druid apprentice Colin McCool survived his final confrontation with the Dark Druid. Unfortunately, that improbable stunt attracted the attention of certain evil gods who fear his rapid rise in power. With a slew of demigod assassins on his tail, the young druid has but one choice: fight or be damned to the dead realm of Tech Duinn, forever.

Druid Mystic (Book 10)

After defeating a psychotic demigod, Colin wants nothing more than to retreat to his beloved junkyard in peace. Unfortunately, the Celtic gods are bringing the fight to Colin’s doorstep - whether he likes it, or not. Can Colin evade the Tuatha Dé Danann, all while bringing a dangerous master vampire to heel? And if worse comes to worst, can he survive a direct confrontation with a god?

Druid Arcane (Book 11)

Colin barely escaped his confrontation with the gods of Mag Mell in one piece. Now, his mentor’s life now hangs by a thread and only one entity has the power to help. Can the journeyman druid rescue the Celtic god of healing and convince him to save his dearest friend?

Druid Master (Book 12)

After tweaking the noses of the gods one too many times, the Mórrígan and her sorceress sidekick Fuamnach want Colin’s head. Tired of running, the young druid decides it’s time to make his final stand. Does he have what it takes to unlock the secrets to druid mastery? And will that be enough to stop two of the most powerful goddesses in the Celtic pantheon from destroying everything he holds dear?

Would recommend for

those who are fans of the Dresden Files, Supernatural, and/or the Mortal Instruments. This was a fun adventure and binge worthy series. The MC grows on the reader with time and once you get past the Gaelic names/terms, which was difficult for myself to understand since I wasn’t familiar with the lore on the topic. As the store progresses it gets better and the performance is phenomenal.

Good series to level 12

I wish I could provide better stats but the author kind of lost me with with the hard to kill Dark Druid. I’ll leave it as that so I don’t spoil the story for others. The ability to retain more of the Druid Book was a let down.

Overall, it was a good read.

always entertaining

this series is very entertaining, I do agree with some other feedback that nobody could be so clueless but then it makes the story less predictable, I look forward to the next instalment.

*unusual twists* revamped mythology and cryptids

I absolutely adore the stories and the homebrew magic items mixed with mythology. This author absolutely takes old things, puts his spin on it , and makes it new. The narrator does such a good job not only with the characters having distinct voices and accents, but he puts real inflection and emotional depth in each character he voices. Stellar job by both
