Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling author Andy Andrews comes the return of one of our favorite characters: Jones, the Noticer, whose wise stories have comforted and guided millions of fans. In this third volume of The Noticer series, navigate the hope that the impossible can come true.

At 3:29 a.m. on May 22, a telephone rings in Orange Beach, Alabama. Breaking the sleepy silence, a hastily whispered message heralds the news that fans have been waiting on for seven years: Jones is back in town. Apparently, however, he is also in jail.

The old man is tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding his brief incarceration. After arriving to bail him out, Andy is shocked to discover that his trusted friend has already opened an unusual business in one of the resort town’s most high-profile shopping districts.

As the town moves from spring to summer, a practical joker is becoming bolder and more inventive with every prank that is pulled. Could Jones be behind some of it? Why? What’s the truth about that four-hundred-pound table in his store? And why does it look as if every person Jones meets has a secret they will reveal only to him?

Based on a remarkable true story, Just Jones beautifully blends fiction, allegory, and inspiration. With rare insight, Andy and Jones take us on a journey that proves the importance of perspective, the power of connection, and the ability we all have to make the impossible come true.

Critic reviews

"This latest soon-to-be-classic from Andy Andrews continues to challenge us to think about life and our current situations from different and unique perspectives. And always with the focus of helping us evolve, grow, and prosper. In addition, the story that surrounds and propels all this valuable information is one of the best (and most fun) you'll ever read." (Steve Jacobson, CEO Fairway Mortgage)

"Just Jones is a rare accomplishment--a mystery that is at times touching but often so funny that I laughed out loud. When one wraps an awesome story around wisdom with the power to change lives...well, how many great books can you name like that? Just Jones is a masterpiece." (Michael Hyatt, New York Times best-selling author)

"In much the same way Andy Andrews presents on stage - making him one of the most sought-after speakers in America - in Just Jones he weaves a rollicking sidewinder of a tale that'll delight his fans anew. Get to know a troubled girl with a funny name who experiences a character arc rarely manifested in contemporary fiction." (Jerry B. Jenkins, novelist and biographer)

I loved it!

I’ve been a fan of Andy’s work for a long time. I’ve read almost everything he has written, and most of it I have liked. However, I wasn’t so crazy about his previous book the bottom of the pool. However, this is totally different, and it is the writing style and work of Andy that I used to know and love. He’s riding his definitely improved over the years, and I love Jones as a character.

We All need a Jones

this book really gave you an insight to what kind of man Jones was and to those of us that didn't have someone to really talk to us and guide us he did that for me. I feel like we all need a Jones in our life and even though we didn't have a Jones in our life to those who are struggling and need someone to be kind and guide we need to try to be that person definitely not judgmental or harsh otherwise we just end up like the crazy hat lady.

The best Jones!

I have read every Andy Andrews book and listened to most of them more than one time - This is one of those books that you know will end but you don't want it to end. It is filled with heartwarming and challenging dialogue and quotable quotes.

I plan to purchase either the Kindle or a physical copy to write down the quotes and statements that caused me to stop and think.

Andy does an excellent job narrating the characters (he) created and the interview after the book is finished, is worth the price of admission.

I rarely give a 3 x 5 review but this is a book that I will read/listen to multiple times.

Andy does it again!

I expected nothing less than great wisdom, and thought provoking perspectives, all delivered in an only Andy Andrews kind of way. To be honest, it exceeded my expectations!

This seemed more like a story, to me, than anything else Andy has written and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The impact of Jones on the characters in “Just Jones” can be truly felt through Andy’s use of detail, to a point where you can tell it comes from a place of true relationship with Jones. Subtle life lessons blossom into life changing maturity, small heartfelt gestures bloom into passionate love for others.

I’ve enjoyed Andy’s material for several years now, and I can say without a doubt, that his narratives have changed my life for the better. My family’s legacy has been impacted by Jones, much like Andy’s has been. “Just Jones” brings even more to my life, and I can promise it will bring more to anyone’s life who chooses to listen. Andy’s delivery of the story is so unique and so vital to the story, I do not believe anyone else could ever deliver the heart to Jones as good as Andy himself.

I highly recommend this, and frankly all Andy Andrews audiobooks! Well done!

Excellent!

I’ve read many of Andy Andrews books, but this one provides as much if not more more thought-provoking opportunities to learn and self-reflect and grow from Just Jones’ commentary (see what I did there, Andy?). I recommend this book to everyone who wishes to be challenged to use their brain!
