About this listen
The Traveler’s Summit explores the historically proven principles that have guided our greatest leaders for centuries and how we might restore these principles in our own lives...before it’s too late.
David Ponder is back, and this time, the fate of civilization may be in his hands.
Centuries of greed, pride, and hate have sent humankind hurtling toward disaster, far from our original purpose. There is only one solution that can reset the compass and right the ship, and that answer is only two words.
With time running out, it’s up to David Ponder and a cast of history’s best and brightest minds to uncover this solution before it is too late. The catch? They are allowed only five tries to solve the ominous challenge.
Listeners first encountered David Ponder in the New York Times best seller The Traveler’s Gift. Now, in The Traveler’s Summit, Andrews combines a riveting narrative with astounding history to show us the one thing we must do when we don’t know what to do.
Released in a previous edition as The Final Summit.

Story
Ferryman Charlie Dawson saves dead people - somebody has to convince them to move on to the afterlife, after all. Having never failed a single assignment, he's acquired a reputation for success that's as legendary as it is unwanted. It turns out that serving as a Ferryman is causing Charlie to slowly lose his mind. Deemed too valuable by the Ferryman Institute to be let go and too stubborn to just give up in his own right, Charlie's pretty much abandoned all hope of escaping his grim existence. Or he had, anyway, until he saved Alice Spiegel.

This is mankind’s last chance. Centuries of greed, pride, and hate have sent humanity hurtling toward disaster, and far from its original purpose. There is only one solution that can reset the compass and right the ship, and it is only two words. Fantastic follow up to “The Traveller’s Gift”
If you loved the Traveller’s gift, and wondered about what happened next, this is a must read. But it is so much more. I love these books, and the messages they drive home. Messages about character, truth, and loving others. Andy reads his own books, and does a fantastic job. You can literally just lose yourself in the story, and visualize everything as it is read. Both myself, and my 18 year old son have listened to these books, as well as The Noticer and The Noticer Returns over the last couple months, and have had great discussions. We are on to The Lost Choice next, and are excited to see what truths Andy will share.
